Really lovely evening meal - made it extra spicy for us! Such warm and welcoming people. Also really enjoyed the energy in the bar area where locals were celebrating together. And we could bring our dog too!
Staff were really accommodating and genuinely wanted to help you get the best experience. The food was so delicious, presented beautifully and the ingredients were so fresh. We had a beautiful view over the river and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
We booked last minute for a meal at the restaurant. Service was amazing and extremely accommodating. We asked to have a drink before our meal, even though it was late, they were extremely pleasant and allowed us to sit for a drink before we sat for our meal. The food was amazing! Fresh and gorgeous. A friendly and well located pub with a focus on home cooked Thai food. The only downsides are a limited menu choice and above average prices. Food quality abd service are both good but it would benefit from a wider range of msim course options.
Great pub with a Thai restaurant. Small menu but all the food really delicious. We had stir fries and a green curry and really enjoyed all of it. Good drink selection. Very friendly atmosphere. Lovely walk from Lynton. Definitely recommend (if you like Thai food obvs).
Had a cracking evening at The Cottage Inn. After a long day walking the South West Coast Path, they fit me and my party of 4 in for late dinner service. The pub and restaurant staff were really friendly, the food was fantastic and they even made a decent mojito! I can't wait to come back again.

The food is delicious with an abundance of flavours, the panang curry was outstanding.
Good selection of beers from the bar, the staff are extremely friendly, small tip, don’t put a blackcurrant in a cosmopolitan it doesn’t belong there!

Stunning Thai food. Great amber draught on top. Excellent service. We came as a group of 13 with a bunch of kids and they were really accommodating with friendly and kind service. We all agreed that it was the Best Thai food we have eaten.
Close to Barbrook and Lynton for convenience. Great food and service. An enjoyable experience. We have visited before and will return in the future. Highly recommended.

The clientele was a mix of visitors and locals.
There are so many tourist traps in this area, but this is definitely not one of them.
