Lovely food, best cream tea I had all week on our travels and Chutney was delicious. Friendly staff too. Even Barney our labradoodle enjoyed it x
Great location lovely people and the best cream tea I had all day definitely a do again
Stunning location and the owners were amazing hosts. Had an exceptional bespoke iced coffee milkshake made for me. Will definitely be back. Xx
Been coming here for years. Love the view love the scones.
Very tasty Ploughmans earlier today, great service and such a nice scenic location
Looking forward to coming to see you again during our weeks stay x Ali x
Stopped off at the coffee mill for some much needed ice cream and coffee after a busy day sight seeing. The kids and dog both loved it! The bad news came a few days later when I arrived back in the midlands, when I realised I'd left my wallet on the table, but Dot made sure it got back safe to me ☺️ thanks for the awesome Ice cream guys! We'll be back one day for sure.
Good service and love that there is an outdoor sheltered area. We had quite a drizzly weekend away in Lynmouth so this became a bit of a bolt hole for us.
Fairly prices for the area too
Amazing cafe.
Stopped off for a drink and snack and was very happy. Delicious drinks, including ice cream milkshakes, as well as home made scones which tasted amazing.
Location is situated in the middle of Lynton right next to the main road. However, due to the gorgous plants and covering, you could not tell. Would definitly go again.
Stopped off for elevenses at this lovely cafe. All seating was outside still, but weather was fine today and the eating area somehow manages to create a flower garden feel in the middle of 2 roads. Milkshakes, with an option of whichever flavour ice cream scoop blended into it, were also a good call, although more expensive than other drinks.
[Mark's top tips: Try the vegan sausage roll instead of the usual cake- so glad I did, best one ever... even nicer than Greggs.]
lovely place to grab lunch and a coffee! staff are friendly and efficient, nice food and coffee, and plenty of undercover seating!
Amazing place. Lovely cream tea and great service. Also very covid safe. Food handled safely also table coasters put down when you have finished for them to clean table... Amazing
Very nice decaf latte. Friendly staff. Lovely views overlooking the harbour.
Dropped in for a Cream tea and my wife had a pasty. Both were very nice and well priced. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant.
Really safe and helpful service! Staff wearing masks, safe exchange of cash and guidance about which tables to occupy and how to leave your table. All very clear and sensible. Food and drink was good - takeaway style and all the packaging is sustainable. Full marks!!
Not surprised it was so busy - but we’ll able to cope because of lovely large outdoor space. Thank you!
Love visiting this Cafe when in Lynmouth. Gorgeous sandwiches and Cream Tea. Staff very friendly and obliging.
This place is fantastic. Excellent food. Great service. Cream Teas to die for. Defo worth a making a stop here.
Lovely and friendly staff, good selection of food although they do start to run out of things over lunch time. I had a lovely chicken, bacon and leek pastie. Good covid measures with plenty of outdoor seating if required.
Wanted a cream tea without the tea. Too hot today. Exchanged for a cold drink. No problem. Cream 'tea' very good. Premises clean and well maintained and all staff very pleasant and professional. We like Lynmouth and the Coffee Mill is definitely on our list to revisit next time.
Decent coffee and cakes and good wheelchair access, no toilets but a good public loo is only about 30 yards away. Also dogs are allowed at the outside tables. Please note, all the other eating establishments we looked at in Lynmouth seemed not to have wheelchair access - however on the way back to the car we saw one round the corner facing the sea which claimed good disabled access, we had discounted this on first passing as it is located upstairs, presumably they have a decent lift.
We love it here and we always sit outside. Staff very friendly and nothing is too much trouble even when they are busy and you have a list of allergies! Large range of drinks and snacks. Last time due to shocking weather we had to sit inside and the new seats are terrible, they are fixed and are too close to the table. Like a cheap version of macdonalds inside now, what a shame.
Visited last week in July. Lovely coffee. Very compliant with social distancing, although disappointed that they are using all disposable cups etc be it recyclable. There is far too much plastic and paper being used at the moment unfortunately just when we were getting used to reusable items to cut down on waste.
I see no reason not to use China cups etc...the cafe along the road is.
You cannot find a more welcoming coffee shop. Customers I spoke to were, like us, returners,. The coffee and snacks are excellent and cream tea a must, and also a good choice of non meaty snacks for us fussy types!! The best reason to visit is Dot and Chris...Never have I come across such a nice couple who make you feel like you have come home.
Many thanks to you both, and we will be back next year.
