Stopped here for a meal, one of the best I have had. Steak and Ale Pie was amazing with tender meat and a rich gravy. Easy to walk past this place in Lynmouth but it’s well worth a stop if you are visiting as the food is amazing.
This is a proper pub with good service and engaging staff. Great home made food options available and it's kitchen is open longer than other venues in town. Good value. Definitely recommended and we'd come back here

En-suite. Great breakfast. Lovely food in pub. Dog friendly - Precious the pug loved it. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be returning.

Dinners are proper how they used to be, loads on and well cooked.
Steak and ale pie was bang on, had a full cow in it.

What a hidden gem this is. Great service, well run pub. Food is home cooked to order, yes there's a wait but you will not be disappointed when your food arrives, be prepared for large portion sizes!!
Great pub perfect place to sit out side a watch the world go by. ...but £5 for a pint of Exmore Gold????
Over the top price
Great team work , Colin the bar man works exactly hard and the chef is amazing, food brilliant. And not forgetting whisper the dog , so we'll behaved and loved by all customers encluding myself.

Only had food here and although it’s a very tired looking pub, the food won’t disappoint. We ate here last year on holiday and came back this year, twice. If it’s fresh cooked good food you’re after, this is the place.
