Called in here for fish n chips as we were reliably informed these were the best in the area. We certainly weren’t disappointed! There was a large queue outside which is always a good sign you’re in the right place!
We wanted to eat inside so put one person in the queue, the rest of us went to secure some tables in the rear where the seating area is.
The menu is standard fish n chip bar menu with some decent seating indoors if you don’t want to take away.
I had the chips which were amazing, not too greasy and very tasty! A fish cake which was also top quality and a jumbo sausage which again was very good.
Based on this experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, despite being really busy service was fast and the place was clean and tidy.
Lovely fresh fish, decent portion with a stunning view to eat by. Sauce pots are a good portion, curry sauce was thick and tasty.
Fresh chips! Very hot! Enjoyed sitting on the boulders opposite the shop, despite the rain it was lovely to sit and enjoy the seaview.
Well priced and just what we wanted.
Food is excellent. The curry sauce for any northerners is the Chinese/Irish curry sauce - not quite as good as back home but still decent! Fish was a good thick piece. I guess only criticism would be it’s very expensive. 3 meals cost us £29 but the food at least was very good. Lovely friendly staff
Couldn't fault the fish and chips we had. The Fish was beautifully cooked, crispy and not greasy at all. The chips were nicely cooked. Curry sauce was delicious. Only critism is It's fairly expensive for the quantity, but I guess it's to expected in this location
Now in my top 5 fish and chips in the UK. Firstly, we are in, and the eating area was very clean, spotless, that's a big plus for a chippy. Secondly the food, wow, so nice! Everything was slightly tastier than than you could expect. Curry sauce was delicious, slight fruitiness to it, battered sausage wasn't your average batter, it was super nice, Mac and cheese bites.. well... find out for yourself! All in a pleasant seating area supplied by friendly efficient staff!
I'm a regular customer, always coming back, delishous cod and fluffy, tasty chips, all perfect!
Fresh fish and crispy chips.
Lovely fish and chips probably the best (with woolacombe but shh)
Variety of sides and drinks and meals on offer.
Average price. Well worth going all out with the fish n chips.
Lovely scenery.
Would return
Today we were enjoying this beautiful place and around 4.30 felt we are ready for some food. You can't imagine our suprise when we discovered that most local shops, take aways were shut! and then on our way to car park we found this fish place! The best breaded cod I ever had, so fresh, well cooked and juicy! Thanks you for a pure enjoyment & being open longer!
Cod and chips were excellent quality. One of the best restaurants in the country. Ingredients, oil and chefs must be the best.
Omg best fish and chips ever! 10/10 lovely to eat just out on the wall opposite in the sunshine. Will make a thing of having it every time I'm in Lynmouth now I think

We always come here when we can park near by (as I'm disabled). We visited here on Monday afternoon and my Dad and I had Haddock & chips, my fiancé had Crab Cake & chips. All three meals were absolutely fantastic as always.
Excuse the fish being tucked into in the picture, but I couldn't wait!!
Been here several times food has never disappointed cod is normally ready if you want haddock it’s cooked to order definitely worth the wait. One thing to note is everything is fried in ground nut oil so if you have a nut allergy be careful.
Hot and fresh chips. Long queue, well managed, but worth the wait.
Fish and pies looked good.
