The Pavilion sits right on the harbour front Esplanade in Lynmouth. It's grandure stands out and it looks lovely and inviting from outside. The main reason for my visit was to watch Becky sign the Two Moors Walk book in the Pavillion after her 6 day trek to complete it from Ivybridge. We decided to have a drink and a nibble while we were there and went upstairs to the Pavillion cafe restaurant. Very nice and bright, beautiful views, great scones. Simply wonderful.

Normally I review a few days later to give it time to mull. But. It's a rainy horrible day but the view is really good, looking out across the sea enjoying a good coffee. Breakfast was amazing, and included black pudding, always a win for me. Food was hot, well cooked and really good amounts of each, nice balance, obviously most of the quick to perish items cooked fresh I keep them nice. Would definitely visit again, thankyou.

IMPORTANT.. has a self-service lift to the dining room which is on the first floor. We were looking for somewhere to eat Sunday lunch but didn't want a roast. The Pavilion proved itself to be the answer to our dilemma. We settled on the catch of the day (hake), with new potatoes. My husband decided on peas while I went for the accompanying salad. The fish was cooked to perfection, melting in the mouth and had a delicate flavour that delighted the old taste buds. The salad came with a light dressing that added to it's flavour without being too oily and overpowering the dish. The staff went the extra mile to satisfy my husband's need for extremely weak tea, but we promised not to tell how. So a big thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty. And the view towards the Welsh coast are an added bonus.

Superb lunch for me and my boy - both of us had burgers and that was enough for us. Very nice Spanish guy from Seville serving us as well. All good. Nice views next door to the funicular as well.

Quality traditional leaf tea. Really good coffee, made well. Better than most in a "holiday cafe" resort.

We always visit here on our way home from Woolacombe and have never had a bad experience. The menu offers a huge range of choices and the prices are very competitive. The quality of the food is excellent and the portions are very generous. The staff are always attentive, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant also offers fantastic views out the sea.

Lovely place by the water with nice outside space. Wouldn’t recommend the fried dishes but burgers and grilled fish were nice. Really nice staff!

Wow the views the staff and the food was absolutely Amazing and value for money. My wife and I had lunch here on Sunday I had the chef special chicken and chorizo croquettes which was something else really delicious. We loved it so much we went back later in the afternoon for cream tea. Would highly recommend a visit if your visiting Lynmouth you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be going back

Very friendly and helpful staff and the best Crab Sandwich I have ever eaten. You can see the lifts and excellent sea views from your table. Highly recommended!
