My partner and me had dinner at the pub today. We were very satisfied. The food was fantastic. The chicken breast was crumbly and tasty. The salad garnish is fresh and crunchy. The fries are fresh and hot. We didn't wait long for the food, it was ready quickly. The waitresses are very kind and friendly. If we will go there, we will return, this is 100%. I highly recommend it to all travelers.🤩

Our 1st visit to this pub,and it won't be the last, made to feel welcome as soon ad we walked in,we were given a table no trouble at all,as we didn't book, spur of the moment idea, Service was very good, portion size was more than we expected, but you can never have to much Sunday roast,my partner had the Roast Pork,I had the mixed 3 meats, served on hot plates,a big plus, didn't have to wait to long from order to table, not that we were in a rush, looking forward to a return visit,Will try a midweek visit and try something else off the menu if its anything like the Roast i don't think we will be disappointed.Thank you for one of the best Roasts we've had in a long time,👍

We popped in for a drink in the afternoon and we're so impressed with the staff and venue we decided to eat at the Waterloo Arms in the evening. Laura greeted us so warmly-she was super friendly and so cheerful. The landlord had dropped in and took time out of his day to chat to us- he is one of Life's characters and had some really interesting stories to tell. The pub is such a beautiful place with nearly as much character as the landlord! There were plenty of unusual artifacts to look at and lots of original features. There's a nice selection of beer and plenty of seating too. The food was exactly what we wanted-good quality and home cooked. We both chose the steak and ale pie and I liked the fact that you could opt for a smaller portion. It was absolutely delicious and probably the best pie I have ever eaten. I chose the sticky toffee pudding and my husband had the syrup sponge pudding. Both were amazing, but be warned, they are big portions! We literally waddled to the sofa area! We were stuffed. If you are in the area, the Waterloo Arms is definitely worth a visit. No doubt we will return when we visit the New Forest again.

Me my wife and Bella 🐕 enjoyed 2 fantastic gluten free dinners after a long days walkies. First occasion was a yummy fish and chips followed by syrup sponge and custard. Second occasion was a 12" pizza followed by sticky toffee pudding (I know piggy) Service was really friendly. They even brought a sausage out for 🐕 We recommend

Had dinner there last night. It was our pets first time in a restaurant. They genuinely treated him like a little prince. The food was very lovely, well portioned and I would absolutely recommend everyone to come here!!

Great country pub serving good hearty food (even did a small size for those not as hungry). The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Do yourself a favour and stop in for a bite to eat or even just a drink, plenty to choose from. I'll be back.

Lovely little traditional bar with a great atmosphere. We had great service too. Marked down a bit for the food as my vegan roast was about 60% peas. My family found their roast meat slightly tough and would have given it 4*. I'd still recommend based on the service and atmosphere alone.

Really gorgeous 16 century pub in Lyndhurst, ably run by Michelle and assisted by her brilliant barman. We ordered scampi & chips, chicken burger and beef burger. For dessert, we ordered ice cream and creme brulee. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was great and we would definitely come back and highly recommend. Well deserved 5*.

Was in today and my family and we were looked after from entering the lovely looking pub to leaving with big smiles. I didn’t get any names but the more senior of the two female team looked after all of our needs. Food was perfect to fill our empty stomachs. Great food and service was excellent. Thank you.

Amazing as soon as we walked in the door. Great welcome from the lovely lady behind the bar and quick service. Sat outside in the garden which was beautiful. I had the smaller appetite fish pie and my daughter had ploughman's, both delicious and again good service from another lady. Added bonus they sell Crabbies Ginger Beer and Jack Daniels honey. Toilets also spotless. Could not fault this place at all. Wish all pubs employed such great staff. Well done 🥰
