Outstanding service from the maître d' and staff who made dinner memorable. A must for an evening dining at Oort Lympe, in a beautiful setting under a sky, under a glass roof, and although the steak was a bit overcooked, I would still go again.
Absolutely stunning food. Unsure why reviews are bad. We booked lunch for two on a bank holiday. Service was great, good accessibility, beautifully decorated.
We ordered the Lamb Kofte and Gnocci. Both were absolutely stunning, tasted fresh and very flavourful. The bread was fresh and warm (though not Foccacia per the menu) but this wasn't an issue

Mother’s Day Delight
We visited on Mother’s Day, Sunday 19 March 2023, in a group of 5 adults and 1 child.
We were greeted at the door, had our coats taken, and shown to our table all very promptly. The dining area is light and airy, with modern contemporary decor. Having been seated, we were given just the right amount of time to get settled, before someone came to take our order. There were two vegetarian options for both starters and mains. The soup and the pithivier were lovely, with great flavour combinations, and a mix of textures. All in all, a very pleasant experience, and would happily go back.
Delighted to see the refurbishment since we visited a while back. Stunning transformation, beautiful decor. It's obviously had a lot of money and design attention paid on it. I cannot fault our three course Sunday lunch. Well looked after by friendly and efficient staff. The beef was the best we'd had in a long time. Everything was absolutely delicious and well presented.
I was surprised at the negative reviews left for this restaurant. We had a great experience - tasty food, beautiful surroundings and attentive staff. We ordered 2 starters - smoked salmon and parsnip soup, and the sea bass for mains. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and he was always checking in with us to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere was lovely especially with the Christmas decorations. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Recommend getting the steak, very tasty. Not a lot in the food menu but great extensive drinks menu. Staff were friendly, service was quick. Love the shuttle bus service while staying at Port Lympne.

We stayed at Port Lympne on Saturday night and celebrated my partner’s birthday dinner at the restaurant. I was reluctant to book as the reviews are hit and miss but the pizza restaurant (the only other one which is open at this time of year) was fully booked so we were left with no choice. We were so pleasantly surprised as the food and service were fantastic!
We booked Port Lympne for our wedding, our wedding breakfast was situated in the garden room which was decorated beautifully by the staff.
Stefan and Darren are an asset to the Aspinall foundation, nothing was too much of an ask.
All of the bar staff and waitresses were amazing, all making sure we were happy with our meals and assisting when anyone needed anything.
The food…I can not explain how beautiful it was, all of our guests complimented the food and are still talking about it now. Faultless.

of the staff were amazing and the food again was delicious.
If I could give them more stars I would, we will be visiting and re-visiting again and again ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Again, no idea why there are so many bad reviews! I wasn’t sure whether to book this for Mother’s Day dinner as I read reviews on poor service etc.. glad I did! Was a lovely meal and great service, would definitely return for another special occasion!
