We love Ego and come back time and time again. Food is excellent (particularly the hanging kebabs and the Pizza IMO), service is always friendly and the venue is nice. Great beer garden in the summer and plenty of room in the main restaurant too. They also have a small dog friendly area. Haven't had a poor experience.
Better than the Sefton egos, the staff are great,accommodating , fast service and the food was fantastic. Recommend the chorizo skewers for starters and any of the kebabs they’re always perfect.

Nice pub. Staff attentive but forgot half the drinks on two occasions. Didn't spoil the night though. Lovely inside really well laid out. Went on steak night. 3 out 4 steaks cooked perfectly.
Absolutely excellent food, amazing value on a Monday night 50% off wine and a great 2 course price, and having pre booked and said we were GF and a veggie, they had the menus already for us. Very friendly, service 5☆+, loved it and great atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.
Parking was ok and managed to find a place.
Staff were friendly. Not so keen on the decor miss the old charm.
The food was ok. Pate wasn't a hit. Mushrooms and spaghetti were lovely.

After being told that Sunday roast served all day we arrived at 6pm and told no roast beef left ,so as it was the only carved roast ,we had to have lamb rump ,£4 extra ,there was also no cauliflower cheese left ,the inclusive green vegetables didn't arrive until we chased them the same for mint sauce. As we had to wait so long for half of the food to come, the rest of the meal went cold. The roasted vegetables and potatoes were barely roasted , as for the service, for the price point we paid it was poor. We were very disappointed.

Booked a birthday lunch on Sunday.Not busy when we arrived.A little disappointed that the birthday celebration was not acknowledged by any member of staff.We were also carrying balloons and gifts so it was obvious.Our Sunday lunch was very good,well presented and good portions.Had to ask twice for accompaniments and wait.Overall a lovely lunch but you can do better.
Stopped off here for a drink. Lovely staff and very friendly. Didn't have food but it looked amazing from what I could see. Will be back for food.
