Excellent pub with good menu and range of drinks Quiznight on Thursdays. Nice to see dogs are not only welcomed but they are provided with free biscuits and water at their own Dog Bar. Space for motorhomes to overnight in the carpark, although best to phone first to be sure of space. Landlord and staff are extremely welcoming ,yet provide a good professional service.

Had hunters chicken, was great. They aloud us to camp in carpark with small camper, not really enough space for large Motorhome.. bar staff are nice and very beautiful. Yes I would visit again..

Nice little country pub. The staff were so friendly and pleasant on our visit that it made it a real delight. I just wished that I lived nearer so that I could try it out again a little easier!

Very impressed with The Crown. Came for an unexpected visit after The Little Manor pub in Thelwall was full and couldn't serve us. The Crown has a very pleasant modern layout inside which you wouldn't expect seeing it from the outside. The food menu was a little bit limited on choice, but that was fine as the food we had was lovely. The staff are all very pleasant and very welcoming even though we had never been here before. And most important and a huge bonus to The Crown they welcome dogs. This will definitely be on my list of regular places to visit.

We had a lovely lunch reminiscing with my wife on her memories of going to The Crown with her grandpa and the speciality of scampi and chips that he always ordered

My first time in here with some retired work mates 4 of us in total. Dave the assistant manager made us very welcome thanks Dave. We all had the same daytime special priced meal 'Hunters Chicken' which I can strongly recommend. The chicken was lovely and moist not dry at all and the chips were not greasy so overall a really enjoyable meal. The daytime special priced menu was quite extensive too. The 4 of us will return again.

The Crown is a family orientated pub selling decent pub food at reasonable prices - kids courses are £1 Monday to Friday. Service is efficient and friendly and you are made to feel welcome. Expect to pay about £40 for a family of 4.

My partner held a birthday get together for me at the crown and we had a fab time. The food was really nice and everyone commented on it and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It’s a great place to have a get together and lovely local pub. Thanks to the team.

Great service , great food selection on the menu. Very reasonably priced. Ladies toilets could do with a bit of work on them to bring them up to the standard of the rest of the pub..

The crown is a decent pub with a great beer garden. Lots of car parking available, should you be driving. There’s certainly a younger generation in there come the evening, so it can be quite loud with some antics....not one for families on weekend evenings or when football is on. The pub quiz is good and well worth a visit on a Thursday. The food is good...typical pub grub with decent portions and certainly worth going for. The decor inside is nice, tastefully decorated and to a high standard with a good selection of drinks. Overall, a good pub.

We called here at early lunchtime on Monday. The pub was quiet as expected at that time. Staff were very friendly and it felt very covid secure. We had the pate and toast and olives and feta with balsamic oil and warm bread to start. Followed by nachos and chilli with guacamole sour cream and salsa and a steak and mushroom pie with mash peas and gravy. The portions were a good size and very tasty and the staff were attentive. Food was a reasonable price with specials available on food and drinks throughout the week. Will definitely go back another time.

Had lunch there with a friend today. The food was lovely and was attractively presented. The staff were polite and helpful and the pub itself is tastefully decorated. Would go again.
