Another fabulous lunch today at this understated fine dining restaurant in the heart of Lymington. The best pork main we can remember. We love that the menu changes regularly and produce is as local and fresh as possible. The staff are friendly, passionate about food and professional. We are looking forward to our next visit already.

So happy that Lymington has this fresh and exciting restaurant. The chef clearly values food taste and texture and all the dishes had layers of flavour. The steak was so completely divine I cannot stop raving about it to friends. The fish was fresh and excellent. A very sensory friendly restaurant as the music was not too loud, the ambience was nice and the restaurant was not bustling. The staff where so sweet ,professional and knowledgeable. The wine was excellent and there various options with different tasting notes which satisfied even for the fussiest. It does not feel like another chain samey restaurant it is nice to know that a place like this is a local option for dining out. My one complaint is that the chips were not very nice and I could not finish them and the side salad could have been more exciting.

My meal was fabulous - unfortunately my wife was unwell - nothing to do with the restaurant. These lovely, lovely people could not have done anything more to help us. The head chef took us back to our hotel as we couldn't get a taxi for over an hour. Recommend the Highstreet Kitchen - you can bet your life I do. 5 stars in every department. Thank you so much XX

Fabulous roast dinner on Sunday. Loved the roast potatoes. Even though they don't have a vegetarian alternative for eating with the roast dinner, there was plenty of food for me and the meat can be cooked to your liking. Service as always was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable for a 3 course lunch. Highly recommended.

We came across this place just walking past and what a fantastic discovery it turned out to be. Although the menu wasn’t as extensive as many restaurants, there was still a good breadth of choice and this was matched by the wine list. The food itself was first class: presentation, flavour and cooked to perfection. We visited on a busy Friday evening and it felt like the staff were rather stretched (5 different people served us) but despite this, it was clear their underlying principles were positive: interactions were warm and genuine. Despite wishing we could have had more attentive service, our lasting memory will be of the most enjoyable dishes we’ve had for some time and we look forward to returning again. (Apologies for the photo - I managed to take it just before my wife dived in with her spoon)

Good British menu food. We had a two courses per person, mocktails, a bottle of wine, and the bill was roughly £220 which is reasonable for 5 people. No kids menu that we saw, however I could have missed it. Service was very friendly but when they got really busy it take a few mi s to grab someone attention. Needs a few more soft surfaces to help with the noise levels, as lots of reflective hard wood, so at time difficult to hear others. Would definitely go again if we was down that way.

We had an impromptu business lunch. No expectations at all as I am usually disappointed with quality/service/knowledge. But what a wonderful surprise - and in Lymington too. Every dish beautifully put together and tasted great. We'll be back.

Party of six, we ate here last Thursday evening. Really great environment, friendly team and great food. The chef / owner was incredibly engaged in the business, spoke to all his guests and was passionate about the food and feedback. We will be back. Thanks for a great evening. Martin & Alison

Lovely new addition to the Lymington eating options. We went along to try out the breakfast options. My wife and I both had Full English breakfast and it was delicious. Will return to try lunch/dinner in the coming weeks. Staff were attentive and service was prompt. Food was lovely and hot as well as tasty. (Lukewarm food is pet hate of mine!).
