Just a short walk across the railway tracks and the road bridge away from Lymington is The Ferryman, which is the sister pub of the Kings Head in Lymington itself. Take a torch if you are heading over later in the day. This is a friendly comfortable pub and whilst we only stayed for the one drink it
Very close to Lymington Pier station so very convenient to visit. I popped in for a quick pint so didn't try the food. A decent selection of real ales and helpful staff in a traditional pub setting. Comfortable and clean environment.
Lovely environment, with fireplaces, wooden furniture, candle lanterns and cloth napkins. Menu includes a vegan small plate and vegan main. The falafel salad was very good, with especially tasty falafel balls. Good, friendly service.
I called 4 hours before to book for dining on Saturday night. What a lovely surprise. The food is delicious with a great choice of wines and local beers. Great music in a cosy atmosphere with an excellent customer service. It was a really nice evening for us.
We had a family lunch here, staff were very friendly, but be careful they will advise you of lots amazing foods. Such as my main course - the biggest prawn and OMG they are not just the biggest prawn but they are also the tastiest. My husband had Gammon steak and it was amazing, thick and tasty too
Absolutely worth all 5 stars! The food was stunning & staff were really friendly & knowledgeable in all aspects of the food & drinks available. An excellent atmosphere throughout & the steak & cod loin was to die for! Cannot recommend this place enough, a wonderful night was had all round!

We had burgers, crab and sea bass. All of the dishes were fantastic, the kids really rated the burgers. Good service throughout, in a great environment. Would go again if we had time
Only stopped in for a drink. It was very quiet as we went in mid-week, afternoon, but fabulous service and super friendly bar staff. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! We hope to be back!
This place deserves 5.0 rating. Decor of the pub and dining area is absolutely beautiful. Outside sitting is rather lovely too with mixture of benches and comfy soft garden sofas. Staff polite and helpful. The food was absolutely AMAZING! It is a shame that I have no pictures of my dishes because th
Great night out here. Fabulous food and service. Staff were chatty and friendly. 1st visit but felt like I had been many times before.
Beautiful stylish pub, excellent food - really enjoyed the sardines as a starter and Hampshire Lamb for mains, it was perfectly cooked and had great flavours. Profiteroles were fantastic!
There were only two ales to choose from, but both really good ales.
Service very friendly, polite and helpful. R
Lovely cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was excellent. Would recommend!
The atmosphere was lovely and the food was amazing and very friendly staff we enjoyed ourselves very much πππ
Very good (choice of) food and friendly staff. We were lucky to enjoy a sunny day sitting in the outside area but the dining room looks good too.
Very welcoming pub, opens at midday. I didn't realise !! the doors were open,so we entered, and we were served drinks. It is a good stop off or meet up point when coming from the Island.
Food ok but portion size way too big, service excellent. It was a shame the website hadn't been updated to show that the traditional Sunday roast wasn't served in Summer! This is what we had come for and we were disappointed it wasn't available
A lovely meal, in a delightful and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service. We visited this place without any prior knowledge. You can now visit it, knowing you'll have wonderful meal. Lucky you.
