Fabulous food and plenty of it! Good atmosphere and excellent service. Best to book though. We went Monday and it was packed. Good job we booked a table. Lyminge is lucky to have such a wonderful pub!
Excellent meals and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our fresh home cooked lasagne, and pork and mustard grain pie. Beautiful setting too, had a short wander around the church and village after.
Myself and my husband wanted to try somewhere new to eat and was recommended to us by friends, and can I say from the moment arrived we were made so welcome. The staff treat everyone even new customers like regulars and the food was amazing many thanks we will definitely be visiting again.

We have just returned from a lovely Sunday lunch at this pub.Its our second visit.Its a great pub with a local and friendly atmosphere. The roast was hot and tasty, just like home, I would recommend all of it . We were made very welcome . Thank you .
If I could give 10* I would!! This is the most beautiful, friendly and welcoming village pub. The pints of local ale are pulled the right way, no sprinklers fitted and the bar staff, Murray, is friendly, helpful and funny!! The food is sublime!!! Do not come expecting quick, pub grub.... This is home cooked and made with love. There's no rushing this kind of food!! Beautiful, thank you and we'll be back when we visit Kent again!! Thank you!
This is a very child friendly pub, the food was very simple and pubish. It feels a lot like as if you're in a big family when your eating there. I recommend visiting and supporting the people there. Have a good day :)
The staff were very nice and served a quality Sunday roast. We arrived late and they went out of their way to make us the food. Highly recommend this pub.
I've just popped in for a cup of tea and was greeted by very friendly bar staff. I could relax on very comfy leather sofas and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

There was a darts competition on the day we visited. Really nice people of this village.
Everyone smiles at each other, people are kind and polite.
If we could we would go here again to try more food.

Just had fabulous meal at Coach and Horses Lyminge. Warm welcoming staff couldn’t do enough for their diners. Friendly and very accommodating. Extensive menu. Food was delicious and didn’t wait long. Definitely worth 5* rating. Supporting local ‘off the beaten track’ restaurants is so important. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.
It's calm, relaxed and inviting a real village pub. The foods great but book a table as it's v popular.
We had a huge party of 30 for a birthday roast and it was amazing! Perfect timing, fully accommodated our weird food requirements, plenty of grub for everyone, wonderful friendly atmosphere from the staff and locals, dog friendly,

Booked a table for five for Sunday roast today. Have never been here before, a bit difficult for parking on road but I have to say it was well worth it. The staff were very helpful and polite, as we were a bit late. I thoroughly enjoyed my lager shandy and I had the roast beef and it was absolutely beautiful, cooked to perfection and was so easy to cut and eat, no having to chew like I’ve had in other places, I have never tasted beef so good and it was so nice to have the gravy served separately, and the cauliflower cheese was so good and for desert I had the chocolate and caramel cheesecake, well what can I say, every mouthful was a delight. I will definitely, without a doubt, be going there again as soon as I can. Thank you Coach and Horses for a very happy, contented and memorable day, see you soon.

Very good and piping hot Sunday roast dinner, bar staff very friendly and polite, and most important of all the bar staff, manager, and chef went out of their way to say thank you for our custom.
We visited for lunch this week while staying at the local HPB property. We weren’t sure what to expect and were a bit nervous that it wouldn’t live up to our 80 year old mums high expectations and standards! However, we weren’t disappointed. Staff were really friendly, food was cooked to order and was piping hot and delicious. Such good value for money. I can imagine some may be put off by the decor and interior, but it does not claim to be a beautifully designed gastro pub. It’s a proper pub with great wholesome food. The toilets were spotlessly clean too. Would definitely return if in the area.
We had a fabulous meal here to celebrate our Golden Wedding. Emily and her staff looked after us really well and the food prepared by Rosa and team in the kitchen was fantastic. We felt really at home and comfortable in friendly surroundings. The whole experience could not be faulted and was also great value. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent pub grub, plus one. We liked it so much, we are back there next week.
