Tom's is a really lovely fish restaurant in Lyme Regis. Top notch. My wife had the monkfish tail in butter, with capers and fried potatoes. I had the "catch of the day," which turned out to be haddock. Glorious! We also shared the roasted peaches with almond cake and a peach and raspberry sorbet. Magical. They even remembered it was our Wedding anniversary... Thank you !!

We loved Tom’s restaurant, the food was stunning, we were warmly greeted by the proprietor & the view was lovely. The scallops were super good, perfectly cooked, the sauce on the lobster, reminiscent of a curry sauce of a chippy house, was inspired. We would deffo go back, the 4 on atmosphere was because it would have been nice to have a flower box wall between the tables & street.

We've spent a week in Lyme Regis and eating out every night because there are so many fabulous places to try. However Tom's has been the absolute highlight with its lovely staff and outstanding dishes. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We were made to feel welcome and special rather than just customers which made a really relaxing evening. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall we cannot recommend Tom's highly enough. It had alll the ingredients that a great restaurant should have.

Booked Tom’s as part of my friends 50th birthday celebrations. Welcome was warm and inviting. Food was outstanding - as a table of 8 we enjoyed the scallops tempura oysters crab bisque fillet steak lobster and sole. And then a range of deserts and nice touch of Happy Birthday plate with fudge to finish. The cocktails we also enjoyed were delicious. Thank you for a memorable evening

We ate inside on a Saturday night. Excellent service & welcoming front of house staff. The pass is inside the restaurant area which was a nice design as you could see the chef placing food out, and gave you a nice nosey to look at the other dishes which was being made. Food was excellent, no faults with portion size spot on. Scallops had dived in the local bay too. Amazing.

Lovely location on the front, plenty of room and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were attentive and very friendly and professional. All the food was very tasty, the steaks were superb and cooked to each diners requirements (blue, rare and medium). A minor criticism would be that the potato fondant could have been slightly more tender and buttery, that is being picky though...... Definitely worth a visit.

Try the Lyme Bay Scollops and the Sole meunière - sublime. The asparagus velouté was also pretty divine. They have an early bird offer most days. The menu has daily changes depending on the loal catch available. Saw some of the sharing platters that looked amazing. Great wine list. Delightful staff giving good service. Very professional looking kitchen. Lovely outdoor seating right on the seafront. Children and dog friendly!

This is a little gem! Tom and his team are clearly passionate about serving food which is not only local, beautifully presented and adventurous! We are foodies and find sometimes feel that are local restaurants rest on their laurels, not so here. I highly recommend trying Toms the crab salad starter with pink grapefruit and apple slivers is delicious; we followed this with fillet steak from Dartmoor; having seen remoulade on another plate I asked to add some along with my béarnaise sauce. Rarely do I have 3 courses but lunch is special so I asked if it was possible to have a small cheese plate; I was given a perfect small plate of cheese some I had not had before! My partner enjoyed a very pretty chocolate desert topped with raspberry jelly and summer flowers! Our wonderful lunch was completed with a pastis! A big thank you to Tom and his team!

Coffee and cake at Tom's. Coffee was excellent, and service was good. My only down on the experience was the amount of jam in my Bakewell... Literally under a mm. Personally I like a Bakewell tart with a bit more filling. Don't let it put you off though, Cappuccino with real chocolate on top in a proper sized cup, lovely views, nice staff, great place to stop and enjoy a bit of me time. 👍

We stopped in this lovely place for a light lunch during a beautifully hot day. Location is perfect, staff were very friendly and considerate and the food was superb! We had 2 different crab dishes which were tasty, well presented and well sized. The scallops ordered were the tastiest I have ever eaten!!! When returning to Lyme we will definitely be coming here again and indulging in more of this awesome menu.
