JUNE 2023 … multiple visits. Drinking 🍺 and eating. 😎 weather days, was very lively. Young, energetic, friendly staff. We had catch of the day.. Mussels with potatoes.. worked well. Tasty.

Visited on one of their quiz nights. The landlord, Ben, gave a great intro including details of events at the pub later in the week.
The pub was packed, with a nice mix of locals and visitors like us. All very friendly with good banter during the quiz.

A wonderful pub. What joy to find mussels on the menu!! They were truly delicious, I didn't want fries with mine and the staff were more than accommodating, providing a salad instead.

Tempted in by the roasted Mediterranean salad- what a great dish! Friendly and pleasant staff. Lovely atmosphere, could have stayed and listened to the music soundtrack all day.
Perhaps the quintessential local pub. Lyme has a number of good pubs but this friendly no frills pub on Coombe Street opposite the fish and chips is perfect for having a sit and a drink. No food is served here but stay a while and you may just forget what it was you were supposed to do.
Can't comment on food as we did not eat . But they had live music which was excellent. The pub manager was playing guitar and a father and his daughter were singing and playing keyboard. it was excellent and the atmosphere was great.
