BRILLIANT PLACE serving great food
Being on holiday, we didn't know this is a tidy restaurant. 5 internal tables with a further 3 outdoors (in a cute alleyway). Staff were BRILL from the start and offered us a table outside or, if we waited as a party was just finishing desserts, we could go indoors. They brought us drinks while we waited and kept us updated on expected wait time throughout. Once inside they were very helpful, explained the options, ingredients, and choices.
Staff were very accommodating to the kid’s needs.
The various dishes ordered, which we could partly see being cooked in the open plan kitchen, was simply gorgeous.
A genuinely lovely experience and I would highly recommend a visit!!
Excellent wee place, great for an informal bite to eat. Places to sit inside and out. Great service
Small friendly restaurant with great staff and a good food. The pizzas are freshly made and packed full of toppings. The Belgian waffle was a nice end to the meal. Give it a try, but make sure you are hungry.
Yummy meal, good service, great value
Visited twice and both times the food was perfect. My first visit I had the ribeye steak which was cooked exactly how I like it. The second time I had the lasagne which was very good and highly recommended. If you're looking for somewhere good to eat, try going here, the place is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.
Nice quiet little place. No draught beer which was a pity because £4 a bottle is a bit high ( Tesco's is just up the road ). Food was okay. I had a steak which was cooked correctly . So basically. Nice little place to eat.
We were a large party of 10 who they managed to accomodate within the hour. Food was amazing, lasagne and spag bol best ever had. Other party members enjoyed the steak and pizzas! service was brilliant considering our large party. Would def go back.
Our family of 12 visited last week during our half term holiday to Lyme Regis, and in a town very short of family friendly restaurants, we were really pleasantly surprised at this lovely little restaurant hidden away just off the high street. The kids were quite happy with their pizzas and scampi & chips, and us adults were very happy with our choices of steaks, surf n turfs etc.
Would definitely recommend for a visit, for groups/couples but especially if you're a family, as it has a lovely kid-friendly menu :)
Extremely quick service for such a lovely meal! The staff were nice and made sure everything satisfied our needs. A lovely terrace too!

Quite possibly the best takeaway pizzas I have ever had. They are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I make a point of ordering from here whenever staying in Lyme. A real treat.
We always visit this place at least a couple of times when we’re in Lyme as it’s just a lovely cosy little place with excellent food at reasonable prices
We’ve been through pretty much the whole menu over the years and never been disappointed
The pizzas are freshly made on site and up there with the best you’ll get anywhere
The kitchen is small and credit to the chef for doing such a great job in a small area
Seating area is also small but very cosy
It’s placed in a small alley just off the high street and I’m sure a lot of people will have missed or dismissed this little gem
Love this place - visit every time we're in Lyme, quality food, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly owners. Never had a bad pizza!
Nice atmosphere. Nice Czech beer. Coffee ok. Tried sharing menu platter. Wish had tried full menu. Very attentive staff
Just had the take away steak meal for 4 of us and a pizza for the kids. No wait, all freshly cooked, friendly staff, highly recommend
