I came here for Lunch. It's one of the cheapest places around for some quick food. It's not going to blow your mind as it's £5 a burger so hey, it's not gourmet.
The food was decently priced and the food was likewise appropriate to the expense.
It is only take away so you can't dine in.

A beautiful big cod and chips, was enough to feed a small army, best fish and chips I've had for a long time, would definitely return and recommend.
Had the grilled sole , partner cod and chips, fish good, disappointed in chips , was hoping for chips shop type not the ones I buy frozen normal cut chips . Given free tartre sauce, lemon wedge, fair price 11. 50 cod n chips , 12 grilled fish, we had half of each
Long wait for 2 portions of chips, but it’s high summer what do people expect.
Once chips arrived. The portions were huge. Crunchy and fluffy. Good flavour and very hot. Good selection of sauces available and staff were very polite and friendly.
Enormous portions of very nice fish & chips. The Cob is handy as a place to eat them. Watch out for the seagulls.
Great FnC cooked to order when we arrived in the rain and excellent chips. All cod is skinless. Haddock cooked to order also and really fresh.
Absolutely shocked at the negative reviews on this place. It’s the freshest most delicious haddock and chips ever! I come here every time I visit Lyme and it’s so delicious, never disappoints. Generous portions, Chips are just ok but the haddock certainly makes up for it and more.

Possibly the best fish & chips we have ever had. The batter was very crisp and well done, the fish was fresh and chips just right. It was a bit more expensive than back home, but worth it.
I ordered the senior fish and chips, and while it was a bit cheaper, the portion was huge. Lovely as both the fish and chips were, there was no way that I could eat even half. I hope they will consider doing much smaller portions for us light eaters. I would hate for the seagulls to get a lot of le
If you want a proper cheesy chips, as in generous, copious amounts of real cheese cooked and melted onto the chips, this is the place you want. Not sure if they’ve changed but in the past the place next door just scattered cold grated cheese on top of their chips. This is the real deal!

Orders are taken and you're given a number that's called when your order is ready. Nice crispy chips, in large portion sizes for a reasonable price. We couldn't eat it all, so ended up taking some home!
