I recently passed by Guljar Tandoori in Lydd, and my experience was absolutely wonderful! The ambiance was delightful, creating a perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. Food is very nice, service with a smile also. If your driving to this restaurant the parking is very limited.
Advertise a meal deal during the week i have never tried but its an option for a cheap cheeky midweek meal out.
Had my daughters birthday here, lovely people. They put banners up and bought a cake, food was lovely. My only complaint is that they made me pay the deposit in cash, but it didn't really matter.

The service here is truly top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome. Throughout our visit, the team was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.
What impressed me the most was the affordability without compromising on quality. The menu offers a wide range of delectable dishes, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. It’s rare to find a place that offers such great value for money without compromising on taste and quality.
As for the food, each dish we tried was a culinary delight. From the appetizers to the main course and desserts, everything was prepared with care and bursting with flavors. The presentation was equally impressive, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail.
I must mention the Prawn Bati - it was absolutely divine! The perfect blend of flavors left me craving more even after finishing the meal.

Absolutely amazing food....we all enjoyed the food! The food was super fresh, tasty and brilliantly seasoned!!! Highly recommend this place....we were just happened to passing through and saw this place and decided to give it try! And boy were we pleasantly surprised!!!

Whilst staying at Cambersands Holiday Park we got a takeaway from The Giljar and the food was lovely. I’m not sure if you deliver to the holiday park itself but it would be a nice touch. Will be back again

'Cosy' best describes the interior which is well furnished clean and bright. The food is excellent, prices are fair and menu comprehensive listing chef specials and classic dishes. Only small gripe was the owner trying to push us to order more than we needed. Overall worth returning to.
This restaurant is wonderful! I went in tonight with 3 of my friends and the way we were treated made us feel so welcome.

The food was fantastic.
I had the chicken curry with basmati rice and garlic naan.
1 friend had chicken madras with coconut rice and garlic naan.
1 friend had chicken tikka masala with coconut rice and garlic naan
And the other friend got lamb tikka masala, basmati rice and garlic naan.
We tried everyone's dish and it was all very excellent. We will be going back for sure!! Atleast once a month :) ATLEAST.
Highly recommend, the delivery was quick, food was hot and tasted amazing honestly the best food we have had, driver & passenger was so polite, and they was both dressed in suits which I thought was brilliant. We will defo be using again.
We eat a lot of Indian and this has to be one of the best around, staff lovely, food excellent, chef happy to tweak dishes to your liking. We now go there once a week.
Brilliant takeaway. We were a little taken aback at the prices but on eating the food we understand now why they appear a little on the high side. All our dishes were really tasty. Can’t fault anything. And the good selection of desserts was surprising and really yummy too.
I have used this Curry House for delivery meals. The service has been excellent. The food has been prepared exactly to my requirements. The costs have been maintained.. I would recommend this Curry House to anyone.
