A friendly a welcoming place.
A good meal with a pleasant and timely service, friendly staff and food cooked to an excellent standard.
Steak was cooked a bit more rare than I would normally like. That said the cut of meat was outstanding and there was nothing left. Top marks to the person who cooked
Great place to camp - the heated towel rails saved us after arriving completely soaked on bikes. We were able to have a hot shower and dry everything out overnight. Nice hot food (especially the pie) and lively bar. Quiet night of sleep.
A friendly place with a good range of local ales and quality meals. The waiting staff are excellent. We visit while staying at their campsite at the rear where there are glorious views of the countryside.
Can't comment on the rooms, however I can comment on the pub, super. Lovely friendly staff and excellent value food. The campsite behind was terrific. A great find!
Great place to stop when out walking for a meal and a pint or 2. Plus, you can also camp out or have a caravan at the campsite or stay in a room. Service for our meal was great, and the dogs loved their sausages
We stayed on the Powis Arms campsite. It's a bit small and cramped but a lovely location. The showers could be hotter I thought but we had a good time anyway so all is OK.
Came for Sunday lunch after a walk at Bury Ditches. Food and beer superb, staff attentive and friendly. Will be coming back.

My beautiful wife and myself found ourselves without plans for new years eve. A trip to the Powys me thinks! What a way to bring in the new year, delicious food served with a smile :) Delicious steak, made me trump. 5 stars.
