The Royal Oak Inn - Luxborough - Photo album

Stayed locally for a few nights and visited the pub twice as it was so good. We were a party of 6 with 2 kids and were seriously impressed by this place. The staff are wonderful, friendly and welcoming. The food is superb. Every dish we had was amazing both times we came. Very impressive, wish we ha
I rarely write reviews so… The Royal Oak is the perfect country pub. High standards of service and quality food and drink. Booked meal for me and my girlfriend and had a great experience. Well trained and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Great job everyone!
Staff friendly our room slightly cluttered not much drawer space. Food very good prices reasonable. In some places paint peeling off walls. My overall impression could be improved to make it very good Location narrow roads access from most major roads
A lovely pub with great food, atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was present well without being too poncy.Well worth a visit.
Wow !!! What a fantastic place. Staff on entering where so welcoming and friendly. We only stayed for one night so only hung out around the bar, restaurant and accommodation. The food was fantastic, we had Sunday lunch which was perfect, couldn’t ask for more, tasty and more than enough. Stupidly we
As a former local of luxborough I can thoroughly recommend the Royal Oak. The staff are great, the food amazing, the cider cold and the locals precious. Awesome. Steve
Great room...Royal Oak suite. In the main very clean but not hoovered under bed and as this is a dog friendly room this was of concern. Very comfortable bed and slept well for some of the night once pub patrons had left for the evening, gone 11pm on one of the nights. The plumbing for the toilet in t
Went for a meal 29/06/23 first visit, very impressed, lovely welcoming staff, nice quaint place, great food. Dog friendly. Will definitely revisit 👍
Absolutely amazing pub. The staff service is on another level and the food was stunning. We went for a hen do last night and they arranged a singer especially for us and decorated the place beautifully. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back!
Returned here after some years. So pleased with friendliness, welcome, level of service, quality of food and standard of bedrooms. Thank you very much everybody.
Top marks for the help the bar staff were giving riders on our ultra race - refilling water bottles and pouring pints of coke as efficiently as you can imagine!
Didn't stay there just visited the bar !! Lovely place ,welcoming staff and friendly locals. Definitely worth a visit.
We've stayed here twice and eaten here several time, this is a wonderful pub and a great BnB, highly recommended to anyone that wants to explore Exmoor and have a great base to stay
What a great pub. Went for pub grub and live music from Top Pockets. Good food, good atmosphere, good music, what more could you want?
Ribeye steak was awesome. Shame its so hidden away as it'll do really well in a town. Will definitely be back again.
We have just enjoyed a wonderful 1 night stay at this fabulous pub. Our room (no 4) was beautifully decorated and well equipped with lots of nice touches and a spacious bathroom. Our evening meal was superb and breakfast simply outstanding! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout.
Delicious food, great menu, plenty of specials, lots of fish dishes, lovely wines and great bar staff.
Clearly a very popular place to eat . Good and varied menu. The food was excellent. Regrettably we had a 15/20 minute between the sweet menu arriving and someone coming to take our order. Only to be told due to the kitchen being so busy we could expect a further 20 minute delay before our deserts ar
