This is a little gem of a village pub. Very welcoming landlord and friendly staff. The pub is Motorhome ( stopover ) friendly and very dog friendly too. The village is set in some beautiful countryside with loads of walks. We settled down to a lovely evening, everyone was welcoming and you are basically invited into the village's living room. The locals are very friendly and pleased to see visitors. The food was great and the atmosphere was really friendly. Thank you so very much!!

Great, cosy village pub with welcoming hosts. Warm yourself by the log fire or play a game of pool. All major sporting events can be watched from any spot in the pub. And, of course, the selection of beers will suit every palette.

Visited a few times now, always a friendly welcome from the landlord and locals. Food is great, plentiful and always nicely presented. Good selection of beers, a very nice pint indeed. Great for us with the pub being in the Britstop scheme, means we can park up in pub car park for the night in our camper and have a meal and a few drinks, which we've done a number of times. Lovely little gem of a pub!

It's the beer quality and choice that makes this pub so superb. Cleanest lines and beer anywhere with beers you wont find anywhere else with 5 screens for sports.

Me and me dad often come to the white Hart, the beer is always good, staff very friendly, Dan the landlord is always in good spirits and makes you feel at home... and the locals are good... if your looking for a proper country pub I'd hundred percent recommend... I've seen some of the negative comments on here which are in my view, unfounded and silly... one in particular is from a rude man that kicked off for being told to leave, and its pathetic when people have to get on review sights and leave lies... also love the pub games they have accessible, I.e skittles, darts, pool... gives the place a nice feel... Countless people have gone into the hart and countless people have been made to feel welcome. A good pub in a good village I loves it i do And the foods banging 👍

Having just read a review by another customer that has been placed today. I want to congratulate the landlord who did not shout or behave inappropriately. Having been concerned as a young child ran around with metal cutlery screaming, shouting and misbehaving. I would suggest that the family were challenged appropriately and respectfully! Numerous times the child was given options to sit in a high chair provided but was allowed to still scream and shout around the grounds/car park and inside the pub. The family were offered the food cooked and packaged after they decided to leave. The I presume “grandparents” stayed and ate the meals provided happily after the child and parents left!! The high chair was used as a threat by the parents and the pub was not at fault!! Thank you to the White Hart for being caring towards their customers and being respectful in the face of adversity. It cannot have been an easy situation to handle. Thank you and also food was lovely and drinks were great!!!

Traditional, well cooked pub grub. Always a pleasure to visit. Dan, the landlord, is welcoming, friendly and always a good laugh. He goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and happiness of his customers. Today he even managed a family with an unruly toddler with great restraint and effectiveness. In response to Candice Andrews review, her toddler was refusing to sit in the highchair provided, was running out into the outside area carrying cutlery, was told he would be put into a high chair numerous times but never was, threw tantrums, screamed "NO!" consistently, her meal was packed as a takeaway but she left before taking it and the grandparents seemed to happily stay and eat in peace.

What a wonderful place to stop overnight in our motorhomes, on route to Norfolk. Dan, Andy and Jill were very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier. We enjoyed a fantastic supper in their very Covid friendly pub, with excellent food from their local butcher and great beer. Would definitely recommend to visit and we will be back on our next trip to Norfolk.
