Lovely food, attentive staff. Midweek visit so not as busy as usual
Had a Chinese here on a Friday night, nice atmosphere, i think only pub left in the village, long may it survive!
The food was delicious as always. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very warm.

The food is amazing, but honestly the service is really good here, they are always happy to book me in when I message on Facebook and the crispy chilli beef is perfect

Very nice food and well priced
I had read a few of the reviews before I went and it lived up to a good reputation. We hadn’t booked but got a table. Service was fast and very good. Not too overbearing but at the right level. The food was excellent I would most certainly visit again. I’d actually give it 4.5 stars if it was possible. It was only less than 5 as it was slightly confusing over who to order drinks from as the Chinese is separate to the pub.
We only really popped in for a quick pub lunch type of thing but found that it had a Chinese restaurant in it so we ordered the combination starter and it was as good a Chinese as we have had and by far the best in decades, absolutely superb, our next Chinese meal will come from here.
It's the only Chinese we will use locally, consistently good. Would recommend trying all types of dishes...
We like to have a cheeky drink whilst waiting for collection, if we decide to have takeaway at home.
Pub is very cosy.
Go when it's cold and they have the fire blazing.

Wonderful experience with the Gin School and the Tapas after was yummy.
Stayed for bed and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful establishment. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Room was comfortable if a little dusty in places. Lovely little touches such as a small case of flowers in the room and sweets and ear plugs available in the hallway.
