What a lovely evening, it's the second time we've visited and the food was again delicious and with a roaring log fire it was a great atmosphere and we will definitely be visiting again. A gem and one I'm happy to recommend.
I have been here several times and have always found the standard of food and service to be of a high quality. Situated in the beautiful village of Mowsley I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
We have had several excellent evening g meals here but today we had a beautiful lunch on our 40th wedding anniversary with close family. The service was outstanding and the food fantastic.

This place is our favourite place to visit . It's such a hidden gem and it's a well hidden pub in a tiny village. The food is always exceptional here , the service is always good as well . Never had any problems in the years we have visited. I've recommended it to loads of my friends and I always come here for my birthday and family meals . They also do a supper night menu , I haven't tried it yet but it seems good value for money . Also Peroni on tap :)
I love the food and drink here..... fresh sea food amazing meat and all cooked to perfection. Always changing the menu to the season harvest and the wines and beers all compliment your meal. You'll never go wrong eating here, we have never had a bad experience, I strongly recommend.
Met with friends on Friday night and I stayed in a B&B room alone.
I had the best ribeye steak I have ever had and my friends enjoyed their food as well.
Service was excellent and I really enjoyed sleeping on a good bed without any noise.
We had a very pleasant Sunday lunch here. The menu was varied and the food excellent in a convivial atmosphere. Good value for money and well worth visiting.
Have eaten here lots of times, and the supper club is great value for money. Food is really nicely presented, tastes lovely, good varied menu. Eating in a lovely clean presented pub restaurants . Highly recommended
This place is a true gem. Anyone who loves good food in a lovely environment should come here. If you live in Leicestershire you really do need to take some time to go to the Staff of Life Inn.

Food was really great and service was very good, squeezing us in at short notice. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was because half of someone else's bill was added to ours by mistake, luckily we always check.
We discovered this hidden gem on a Saturday afternoon when most places around were not serving food and would definitely visit again ! Fantastic food, great service and cosy atmosphere.
Quiet rural location, charming Edwardian village pub, small car park, very clean, tastefully decorated, friendly staff, good service, outstanding food, very reasonable prices for this level of dining (£50 for main course, dessert & drinks for 2 adults and a child). We will certainly be returning. Highly recommended.
Food is very good good selection of beers and wines. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend booking a table so not disappointed.
