We love the food and service at the Pig in Muck. Our family have eaten here quite a few times now and we've never had a bad meal. It's a family run pub so always a great service and a very friendly atmosphere. All age groups are welcome. The carvery is to die for. There's lots of choice of meats and veggies to choose from and all cooked to perfection. They even have gravy boats and scissors on the individual tables to cut sauces open. Can highly recommend. Cant wait to go again soon!!!
One of the best family run food pubs in the area. Always a warm welcome and a great menu. Portions are huge and on a Wednesday Carney night and Thursday Grill Night are excellent value. 8oz fillet about £12, which is exceptional value.

Nice friendly pub...top drawer carvery..well worth the money couldnt fit a dessert in...next time Hahaha..want to go friday saturday night in the near future to try another cant fault dish...going to try the their ales next time too brewed in house....all in all highly recommended if your passing call in or book it gets busy not the run of the mill 5* great place to dine!!!
We went as a group of 20 for the Wednesday car very and therefore had the upstairs room.
The staff were all excellent and friendly and Efficient. The carvery was brilliant, with plenty of choice, large portions and with lots of freshly cooked vegetables to go with it. ( and the price was very reasonable for such good quality.
All in all, a most enjoyable experience.

Visited today with my Nan and omg how we have missed this place! The food was AMAZING! Home cooked and fresh! The choice of meats (6 in total) and the various and plentiful veg, was just perfect! Superb atmosphere and the owners are just as friendly and welcoming as I remember.

Visited with a walking party. So 9 of us had lunch. Food was ordered and arrived before us in a suitable time. All of us were impressed with the quality of the food, it's presentation and taste. Would definitely recommend and if walking near here again will no doubt revisit.
Delicious lunch! We had the steak & ale pie which had the most amazing gravy ever! Highly recommend trying out this little gem ♥️

I've been coming here on and off to the Pig with my father-in-law for around 8 years. I love walking in those doors because I am always greeted with laughter and smiles. The homemade draughts are great. I highly recommend a pint of Best. In the winter, the fire is on and it is just great. Pop in. You won't regret it.
Super pub. Brews it's own beers and has guest ales on too. Really friendly staff and locals. Lovely log burner in the main eating area. Will be back for the well reputed carvery later this year!
Just what a traditional pub should be! Excellent beer, amazing quality and choice at the carvery and very genuine friendly staff. 6 meats available on the day we visited… the pub also brew their own beer!

Clean comfy pub with a strong family run feel, friendly service where the staff are attentive but not overbearing.
Our first visit for a Sunday carvery was nice and the food is excellent, 6 choices of meat and a generous portions wide selection of veg.
Bad points, busy so book early, some of the furniture is showing it’s age ( it was all clean on our visit)
