We came for a belated valentines meal and we couldn't fault a thing about the white swan. The staff were so friendly and all great at their jobs. The menu is incredible, we were completely spoilt for choice, and it was nice to be given the choice of the different menus available on the evening. The food was superb and the portion sizes are great for somewhere serving such great quality food. We will definitely be returning.
We have had the most fabulous sunday lunch ever - it is a dining experience no where else to be found in Leicestershire. From the unusual presentation of the food to the service we would recommend any food lovers to try it out. Thankyou to the chef and staff . X4
We went to the White Swan for a special anniversary meal and what a treat it was! We had the tasting menu and it was, without a doubt, the best food we've had in the UK ever. Amazing flavours beautifully presented and served. Highly recommended.
This was our first visit to the White Swan and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Staff were so lovely and friendly and food was amazing. Steak was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend a visit! Many thanks for a wonderful evening.
I went with 2 friends we had the Wednesday wine and dine it was absolutely wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was cooked to perfection definitely recommend you try this restaurant.
I have been here for breakfast on my 60th and it was truly amazing. The food is fantastic and service second to none.
I then took a very dear friend for a very special lunch on a special day. It was everything and more than we could have hoped for.
I totally recommend it. Our lunch was truly the best food we ever had to date.
The Inlaws have just moved to the area. We fancied a Sunday dinner, after a search of trip advisor, this is where we ended up! What a pleasant surprise. Honesty the best meal we have had cooked for us in a restaurant for years. The service and staff where great. The food was melt in the mouth. I highly recommend this lovely little pub. Good job guys!!!

We came here for my birthday, second year in a row. We often eat out but can honestly say, that I only have ever raved about our experience at the white swan despite how many lovely meals we have had in the many excellent local restaurants. The 6 course taster menu along with the accompanied wine is outstanding. Expensive but an experience worth every penny.! Service is sublime. Food above excellent.

Wow. Amazing pub! Staff are very attentive and friendly. Wonderful wine list, and cocktails to die for. I HATE rhubarb, however, had a rhubarb cocktail and lived it. Clean and tidy, very smart. Would definitely come back. Really wonderful.
Our absolute favourite place to eat and drink. The food is superb, and the welcome, service and atmosphere all make this a first class restaurant.
An amazing find! We will be back � local beer, fabulous food, friendly staff and happy to let us in with a dog too

Had a lunch meal here on a Saturday. From the moment we walked in the service was great. It is dog friendly in the bar area also. Lovely building. Staff were great & service. Food was exceptional, very tasty & we presented. Menu was also great. Highly recommend & will definitely be going back.

I attended The White Swan last night for the seven course tasting menu. I loved the spacious layout of the dining area and the light decor. The staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable and made the visit even more pleasurable. The food was absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t fault it in any way. I loved that all of the courses were extremely different but all flowed together. I will be happy to recommend to all my friends and will return.
Update 6/23: visited for my daughter's birthday for their Wednesday Wine & Dine. She thoroughly enjoyed it (as did we all). It's a three-course set menu for £29.50 (£39.50 with matching wine), which is great value for a Michelin Guide restaurant. Everything was excellent from the pre-ordered cocktail on arrival through to the dessert. The food is really high quality, though maybe sometimes the flavours are too subtle, e.g. the smoked broth with the fish main was almost undetectably smoky.
I also think the lack of choice on the Wednesday menu might put some people off: alternatives are available on request but will/do people take up that option?
Nevertheless a great experience and highly recommended.

They were super accommodating about food restrictions and service was lovely.
The tomato soup was amazing in taste and also top marks for the ham hocks and dessert. The accompanying wine selections were also top notch and I encountered one of the best Malbec’s that have had in a while.

Superb food. Wonderfully cooked and you know the ingredients are well thought out so they pair perfectly. Alex was our waitress and was fantastic. If they did 6 stars, I'd give it to them. Wonderful food and service.
A couple of months ago we ate at Raymond Blanc's 2 star Michelin restaurant. We've just eaten at The White Swan and I can honestly say the food was better tonight. Thank you White Swan for a wonderful experience!
Everything was perfect. Had to give 5 stars for all aspects. Expectations were high as we had heard very good things from friends (it’s not somewhere you would stumble upon as it’s hidden away in a tiny village not far from Junction 1 Rugby Services. Wanted to try all the menu items. Already booked in our next visit!

My wife booked this place for me for my 40th birthday. This is an incredible restaurant tucked away in a quiet spot. This is prime example of a 'hidden gem'.
The food was absolutely exceptional and every course was explained down to a tee.
Another great service they offered was a Le Sommelier, giving some great advice on the wide range if wines they had on offer.
The service at this place is at a very high quality. Every member of staff were very welcoming and friendly.
I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a special place to have an intimate dinner.
Just visited The White Swan for the first time. The food, service & ambience were all genuinely first class. This is a high-end dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed it very much & looking forward to our next visit already. Wonderful restaurant.
Well what can I say for the white swan? Just wow. It was a last minute decision to go here first time (will not be my last) for a very late mothers day treat we came on a Monday the we both had the stake and lobster and sticky toffee pudding for only £20 other options were available but that was the day special very cheap. I had heard good things about the place and they didn't disappoint staff and food were top notch thanks all staff I'll see you soon
We have just returned from having a delicious meal at the White Swan
Initially a bit concerned after reading some very negative reviews. There was no need to worry. The service was very good nothing was too much trouble . I had a juicy steak cooked to perfection , rocket and chips . Hubby and friend had the crab and egg starter followed by carved duck breast in hoisin sauce. Vegetables included broccoli, carrots and parmentier potatoes . All of which were tasty and cooked to perfection.
Superb! Lovely place! Wonderful food and service! If you want to celebrate an especially event or just if you want to impress please go there!

Outstanding food from a menu that offers some very interesting dishes.
Rory & the team deliver quality food & service that makes this a great dining experience. Casual supper or celebratory dinner in smart modern surroundings. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar before dinner whilst we relaxed making our choices from the menu. I chose whipped feta & roasted beetroot, sweet potato brioche, striploin & a generous selection of sides before completing with honey yoghurt with rhubarb & pistachio.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening, fine food & wine, a nice buzz to the atmosphere. Left fully satisfied.
Special 3 course menu for £20 was amazing value and really premium food, not much else locally to compare to!
Great food. Fantastic that the cooking team bring out the dishes in the tasting menu and explain what they are and you can ask questions if needed. Could not fault it. Only a little bit small since an extended pub sized place hence the atmosphere was a little quiet only.
