Visited the White Horse on the 18th December at lunchtime for our works' Christmas lunch. The pub is very welcoming and was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime. Due to a slight hiccup on our part, the staff were fantastic in sorting our orders and the food was brought out in a timely manner and without any fuss. The food was lovely and very reasonable in price. The staff are attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.
We visited for Lunch this week, and had the Easter Picnic Bench.
Absolutely fantastic! What a treat!
We don't like big meals so it was great to have three smaller portions. The waitress even checked if we wanted fish with the Vegetarian option or not.
The puddings were so lovely and so much to choose from, we couldn't eat it all, we were so full.
We will be recommending this to all our friends and definitely coming back again another day.

It is a lovely welcoming place, that has a nice feel to it! Staff are always friendly and the food is really good, always a good selection choice! Highly recommend, nice little play area outside too perfect for kiddies on a nice day xx
We spent a lovely afternoon at the White Horse for their Easter Afternoon Tea benches. The food was amazing and the staff were so lovely! Even my fussy boy ate every last bit!
We had a heated pod for 3 adults and 2 kids and it was just wonderful.
Couldn’t recommend highly enough, and we will definitely be going back!
We had a lovely meal here in Wednesday evening. The staff were all fantastic, food was great. Children were very happy with the play equipment :) one more veggie/vegan option would be good but they had two mains to choose from which is more choice than many pubs locally! Puddings were very tasty ❤️
What a lovely afternoon with a rainbow tea party. We fully enjoyed the whole experience. Beautifully prepared delicious food and snacks. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great communication while booking the party. We will definitely visit again.

Attended my best friend's wedding here. As MoH I was involved in all the planning and I am so grateful to Cheryl and all the staff for their input.
We had everything from the ceremony to the wedding reception all on site so there was no need to travel; and with exclusive hire we were comfortably able to enjoy the whole day. Everything went off smoothly with Cheryl's professional attitude, experience, and watchful eyes keeping it all in check. The venue was decorated beautifully and they incorporated all our decorations seamlessly.
Every guest enjoyed their meal and commented on how well the process was handled to ensure everything was hot and fresh. The desserts went down a treat and the evening buffet was also very well received and highly complimented.
I cannot recommend this lovely venue enough for a wedding or other special event - it was everything we'd hoped for.
Thank you to Cheryl and all of the kind, professional, helpful and conscientious team. You helped to give our Bride and Groom a truly wonderful wedding day.
Went for a Christmas platter (in Jan, but who is counting), and even though the country roads getting there can get a little hairy, it was well worth it. The food was great, the outdoor booths and ambience was something I've never seen before, and the staff were all friendly, chatty and attentive. Looking forward to visiting again.
Lovely afternoon tea, well presented and tasted lush. Pretty pub and surroundings. Staff were very helpful and polite.
We had a delightful meal here, with some lovely cocktails. The customer service was great too. Only thing I would improve is having a drinks menu available for customers
Lovely setting, looks really good and the garden looks great when all the lights turn on. Food was nice but due to covid bit of a wait to order. Love the buzzer which lets the staff know you would like the bill or to order another drink.
This venue is beautiful and their staff is super friendly and make the event even better because you can tell they’re enjoying what they do. It has a beautiful prairie out front which is a great background for wedding pictures and has an inside salon that can host around 100-120 guests comfortably.
Really lovely place. They have little pods you can book both inside and out, great for small groups.
Food was good, car park can get a bit full so may have to park on the grass, but not an issue.
Cocktails are amazing too.
Came here for the Christmas bench. It was amazing! The food was lovely. We had the adult benches and then my daughter's had the hilds bench. Both were good. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant is nice and cosy. I fully recommend!

Lovely food and outstanding service! Very clean and excellent COVID-19 secure 🔐 process. The kids also loved the playground.
Nice place to have lunch. Group booking is available. Had pre-ordered the food so there was no delay in service. There are many varieties of food available. Vegetarian options are included. Most of the food comes with a portion of chips and a drink. Reasonable price. You have place to sit outside where beautiful benches are provided.
We recently booked the White Horse for our wedding. Cheryl was AMAZING & I’m glad she was there to help our day go smoothly. The team were all fantastic from the first meeting through to the end of the night.
Venue was gorgeous and they accommodated all of our wishes to make the day PERFECT!!
Would 10/10 recommend them to anyone.
We’ve visited the venue for normal meals and drinks also, always love going here.

Beautiful venue for a wedding or party. Great service and fantastic team. The food was delicious and the area surrounding the pub is so pretty for pictures as well as all the props and photo points the actual pub offers. The heated booths outside are a great touch.
100% would recommend.
Lovely food, great staff and felt very safe and hygienic! The pods in the garden are great and the buzzer is a very good idea!
