The Cleave continues to dish up seriously good food in this pretty village tucked away down a narrow lane off the main road between Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampstead. Beautiful old inn in the lovely village of Lustleigh. Had a nice little wander round the village before lunch, then an excellent pint of Otter and a veggie lasagne in the garden. Bar staff were really friendly and it was so peaceful. I'm slowly working my way around the pubs of Dartmoor and this is
A great traditional pub on the edge of Dartmoor. Limited vegetarian options but the fish was excellent. Fresh Jail Ale and good service in the atmospheric front bar.
Visited today and had an excellent lunch x 2 of bubble & squeak, on a cold day just what we needed. The host and his team were friendly and moved us nearer the fire when it was free. You can ask no more of a pub well done
Excellent lunch and service as always! A great pub.
Really nice pub in beautiful Dartmoor village. We were squeezed in at a busy lunchtime serving, and noticed a few people getting turned away so worth booking in advance. Good food, quite reasonably priced for a village which attracts quite a few tourists.
What a beautiful pub this is! I have just had quite possibly the best meal I have had to date Yes I did just say that It was faultless Remember you need to book
Lovely old building. We just popped in for a quick lunch. We had baguettes which were delicious. Would have over a few more vegan options. Friendly, helpful staff.
Lovely pub in a lovely village. Good range of beers, many of them local. Food was delicious and beautifully presented, and clearly freshly cooked to order. A hidden gem. I just wish they were open for more of the day!
