Wow! A little bit pricey but totally worth it. The food was absolutely gorgeous! The grill was unfortunately broken on our visit so we couldn’t get what we initially wanted but the alternative was fab. We had the rosemary and buttermilk chicken sandwich, nachos and the button mushroom starter. All of it was well cooked, presented and tasted insane. I would highly recommend this place! They have a lovely outdoor seating area too ☀️🍃

First time visiting and for a pub I thought it was pretty decent. The look of the inside is lovely and the staff were great. We ordered roasts and the hunters chicken. The roasts were okay, there were a few issues; the beef looked to be just slices out of a packet and not from a joint and the roast potatoes were inedible, they were more like little jacket potatoes, far too big and not crispy enough. The gravy didn't have much flavour to it and some of the veg was overcooked to the point of mush. It wasn't awful to eat, it just didn't quite make the mark. The hunters chicken was nice, I ordered mine without BBQ sauce, only quarm is that the presentation of it wasn't great. Would come here again to try out different meals.

A stunning pub out of the way with ample parking on both sides of the pub. Wheelchair accessible ramp to the front of the pub. Parts of the pub are on different levels. We visited to have a Sunday dinner and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. A good portion of meats - the best roast potatoes I've had on a pub Sunday dinner - huge Yorkshire pudding. Unlimited roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings on the meal I had. I did have an extra pudding and potatoes. Great selection of beers and wines. Great app just ordered the drinks brought to the table like many large chain pubs. A super friendly dog pub with a dog menu and water available for your doggy. A perfect visit and if near I will go back 100%. Worth booking if you want a Sunday roast it does get bust here. If you have dietary requirements don't use the app and order from the bar.

This location is half way for me and my family. We met for Sunday lunch and we're welcomed by the great staff members who showed us to our table, provided a high chair and told us the ordering process. 1 had the chicken pie which was nice but didn't break any records and the others had Hunters chicken which went down well. Sticky toffee pudding and a sundea for dessert and a small bowl of ice cream for our little one, all very nice. The atmosphere was great, staff were great and food although 1 of the mains was not spectacular we will return and make a different choice.

I can rate the food, as we only called in for a drink, but the service and atmosphere were excellent, also super dog friendly. Considering booking next year for our dogs birthday as they have dog menu.

After a long drive, this was a welcome break. We were in need of food. The meal was nicely hot (including the peas) and a medium steak was exactly right. The price was reasonable. Comfortable seats and pleasant setting overall. Friendly staff.

Pleasant and helpful staff, very good service. Food menu limited choice, fish pie a little disappointing and seasonal veg was just a small serving of overcooked cabbage snd a few garden peas!! Plenty of parking, good disabled access. Good range of beers including Timothy Taylor's Landlord.

Spent many hours here yesterday, whilst my daughter was across the road at Leeds Festival. The waitress was amazing and the bar manager was very polite and hospitable. It is a dog friendly pub serving delicious food

Arrived shortly before kitchen closed on a Friday as a stop on a long journey, more than happy to serve us and allowed us to order a desert as well ahead. Drinks were cold and food was hot and delicious. Sat in very comfy chairs in a characterful alcove. Lovely place and staff were friendly, highly recommend, a shame it was so quiet!
