The Crown And Anchor - Lugwardine - Photo album

Walked over to sample a pint of Batty Bach. Perfect pint. Lovely garden. Dog friendly. We're planning to return with our son on Saturday and have lunch. The menu looks fabulous.
A great place with great food and very friendly staff. We were only staying nearby for a few days but we went back for a second night because the food is so good. Well worth a visit. The steak frites (pictured) was delicious.
This place has vastly improved under the more recent management - the forever cheerful Gail and the rather dour Charlie (well he carries the burden of being Scottish). It's one of those delightful old English pubs that resists video screens and games machines. A log fire and lots of crannies to sn
Delicious sunday roast in a proper old fashioned pub. Such a warm atmosphere we could have stayed there all day! Not overly priced and exceptional quality. will definitely be visiting again.
It's a lovely pub. Unfortunately, they'd finished serving food when we attended. First rate bar staff. As seems to be the way in Herefordshire, the staff don't see it as a competition, more a 'collective', when the lady heard I was a fan of real ale, she recommended another pub 'for me to try'. T
Very good food and nice service. We just stayed the night nearby and they didnt have any food so we walked here. We were happy suprised. We will return tomorrow before we travel back to Sweden.
Popped in on bank holiday Monday after struggling to find any pub open on the way from Hereford. Sat down in the beer garden to enjoy our early evening drink with sunshine. Nice looking pub with history, I would guess 16th century Black &White. Worth visiting, look forward to try some meals as well,
Ate here twice, great food and service on both occasions.
What a lovely pub. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Definitely recommend this place.
Nice country pub. Great service. Good menu. Happy staff.
Good food local ales excellent service
Friendly staff, quickly served and reasonably priced food in a gentle, old pub setting
Food was very nice and service was perfect.
We are visitors to the area for the weekend and the Crown and Anchor recommended by the previous renters of our accommodation, as well as the owners. A nice village pub with a friendly welcome from the owner and staff alike. A tad disappointed that a few things were not available on the menu, althou
Highly recoommended! Went for Sunday lunch with my teenage daughter and, although it was pretty busy, the service was very quick and very friendly and the food was WONDERFUL. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. Will definitely be back :)
Quick, very friendly & helpful service. Gorgeous food. Good prices. Lovel happy friendly atmosphere. Would come back again and would recommend to others.
Great country pub, fabulous food and excellent staff, look forward to our next visit
Lovely little pub and the waiting staff are fantastic, real customer care and happy to chat. Food was good, although obviously microwaved as it came out almost immediately which is nice if you're in a rush but not if you like food properly warm. Roast Beef was delicious, nicely rare which is how it
