Excellent place to eat, superb food and a great atmosphere, staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and give great service. We love the place and would recommend it to all.

First time of visiting the pub as we live a fair way out but it was well worth the travelling, the food was amazing, enjoyed every bit of it, apart from them not having any white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake but that gives me an excuse to go back,which we defeinetly will, the staff were really lovely, nothing was to much trouble, even when we left wishing us a safe journey home, well done the Queens Head we can't wait to come back.
We wanted to make my son's 13th birthday special so asked him where he would like to go and he chose The Queens as it's our favourite place to eat. Jane had been so helpful throughout planning my son's special day and decorated the table lovely as a surprise for him.
When we arrived we received a lovely welcome and my son was surprised to see the banners and balloons.
As always the food was outstanding and the staff were very friendly especially Jade who is always so chatty and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is ok and has everything we need.
We were a table of 14 and not one complaint such a warm friendly atmosphere and a very enjoyable meal.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Nice pub with nice pub food. Simple and tasty - well cooked and well presented. We went for a selection of burgers and they didn't disappoint. Plates went back totally clear. Would happily go back and would happily recommend. I think the bill came to 70 quid for 4 make and 4 drinks - so not expensive. If you want decent pub grub give the place a go.
Dropped into here on the way through on my bike ride this weekend, completely by chance. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the burger I had was fantastic, a really well cooked piece of meat in-between a toasted bun, you'd be surprise how many places fail at that hurdle, and all the trimmings. Price are reasonable too.
We booked for Sunday lunch and it was a very nice roast dinner. Plenty of it and steaming hot. Puddings were amazing too. Service was attentive and also very good.
First time visit. Definitely not my last...you may think ' who goes and pays to cook their own meat'? Well, if you want it cooked your way......see where I'm coming from? Anyway, the food was absolutely beautiful, the desserts were amazing. Spend a little extra and treat yourself to this place. HOT ROCKS is an amazing idea, the steak is just THE BEST, proper onion rings, all I can say is, Eat here and you will NOT be disappointed. I cannot recommend it enough, I mean check out my pics, the Gammon was beautiful, I will say though, if you don't like salty meat don't have it. Personally I thoroughly enjoyed it.
WOW! absolutely lovely, the steak melts on the tongue without the need to chew. The 10oz fillet steak is the one I'd recommend. Staff and landlady are welcoming and friendly in a typical old village pub. Definitely going back.
First time here went with few friends for the evening and I can say is it’s got amazing food, service is 10/10 friendly atmosphere definitely recommend this place and even have a good size garden
Staff were very helpful very busy, its got music great place to meet new people and have a family night out or just to relax.

Not been here before but decided to take the kids for some food. The kids really enjoyed it the little one head pasta and the bigger one head a stake. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff were friendly . This place deserves 5 stars for the above reasons. As much as the food was nice and it was a extremely pleasant place to visit there is a lot more that could be done to improve on the food and service it would be unfair to give less than 5 stars but if your looking for a good place to eat and maybe take the children i would highly recommend.

Exceptional service. Dealt with a fussy eater (gluten & dairy free) aka me - extremely well & nothing was too much hassle. Very attentive service yet casual enough not to be overbearing and on a busy Sunday too.
Would highly recommend the vegan chilli even for non-vegans and the Golden syrup sponge for GF & DF intolerant. 10/10.
