Having recently moved to Belford this little gem is only a 10 minute drive away. I opted for the Vegan Full English as I wanted avo and spinach but had meat sausages and added poached eggs. The food was freshly prepped and well presented. Service too was great, nice warm welcome and good coffee too.
Had a delicious afternoon tea here as part of a spa package. Beautiful food and presentation and the service couldn't be friendlier. Thoroughly enjoyed it! The space is beautiful as well and we are looking forward to trying the rest of the menu when we have a chance.
Wow!! Compliments to the chef!! Literally the best breakfast we've both had!! What a hidden little gem this place is.
We stayed at the Apple Inn Shepard's Hut for the night and breakfast was included, we had Fruit & Yoghurt / Granola for starters then School House Croissant / Parmesan Toast. Huge p
We had two fantastic breakfasts here during our stay nearby. The staff are great and very accommodating to all comers (including dogs!). We’ll certainly be back.
What a fabulous venue with the most welcoming ,friendly staff and wonderful food .I had vegan options which were excellent .our dog was also welcomed by the team which was so appreciated including getting his own sausage ! Thank you , it really was a lovely lunch

If you're staying in the village, you've not got much choice for breakfast if you want to walk but luckily the school house serves a great spread.
