A treat for us. Lovely walk along the canal, then Sunday lunch. Huge plate of food and a great deal of meat. Didn't bother with pudding, but I would have liked more choice if I'd had the room. Pub was very busy (lunch time), so i recommend booking.

Been here a few times with my partner, and have tried the food as well as the drinks on offer now. The Onslow Arms really is a gem of a pub! You can tell it is a well-loved pub by many - there are a few regulars we see at each visit who you can see chatting with the staff. I also really love that the pub is dog and walker friendly. The food is really flavourful and served at a good temperature. My personal favourite is the chicken wings with the Saucy Cow BBQ sauce - they're so so yummy! <3 There is a good range of drinks on offer, and their food menu is extensive. This pub also hosts live music, inside and/or out (dependent on season/weather). Me and my partner stayed to see Alter Ego perform, and they were grand! I love that The Onslow Arms hosts up and coming talents. I also love the decor, inside and outside the pub. If you're going for a walk along the canalside, I seriously recommend popping into the pub for a pint! Me and my partner plan on coming back again.

Brilliant find, on the canal, excellent service from staff, delicious and well priced meals, dog friendly and we are definitely coming back. Advice would be to book ahead.

Great Sunday lunch with the family. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly and professional. I had the lamb roast which was deliciously tender and full of flavour. Everyone else at the table also thoroughly enjoyed their roasts and burgers. Definitely great value for money and next time we're in the area we'll make another turn. A walk along the canal after was a great way to help the food settle and enjoy the scenery. Thank you all for making our trip worthwhile.

The family enjoyed a terrific Sunday lunch here. Portion size & choice were up there with the best we’ve encountered. Great options of sides, which is where most fall down. Lovely beer and a beautiful walk along the canal afterward. The kids enjoyed playing in garden (playframe and goats!) we’ll return

Great pub by the waterside on the Wey and Arun canal in Loxwood. Had lunch here sitting by the canal on a Sunny Saturday after kayaking on the canal. Good food and a great location. Service was good and the pub had a nice friendly atmosphere

Lovely food, friendly pub and staff, went on Sat night when Rugby on so bit noisy but no issues. Really loved the menu and huge choice. If any slight critique it would be to have a separate dining area but I understand it's a proper pub not a restaurant and I would love to go back again.

Very nice but don't expect to turn up and just eat as it gets really busy due to being the parking point for the canal walk (and being good food). Too busy for my taste after a relaxing walk but that's not the pubs fault. Special mention for the goats! Sitting out front quieter than back by canal.

Lovely old pub by the canal. Despite it being a very busy lunch period both Rachel and Rob managed the workload with humour and without looking flustered. The fish platter was good though the salmon steak was a little over done whilst the beef ribs platter was really yummy. Good choice of ales/ wine , a great place to spend a few hours!

The pub itself is lovely, loads of parking, beautiful views of the canal and a great start and ending for a beautiful walk. The staff and general feeling inside were also great, friendly and welcoming however I have to mark it down due to the food, as it was a bit of a let down. We ordered a few different meals and unfortunately we had to leave most of it. This was their take on a steak and mushroom pie...

Beautiful pub and just what is needed after a long walk around the canal. The drink selection was fantastic, the menu was such that we wanted to order all of it and the food was phenomenal. The staff are friendly and polite and just the general atmosphere of the place was warm and welcoming. They also have great outside seating over looking the canal or on the other side in a fenced in garden with small play area for the kids. The only down side it that it is not closer to my house so I can come back sooner, but we are already planning a return visit.

Stopped here for a quick drink as we were in the area. Lovely pub, right by the Arun canal. Lots of parking. Can't comment on the food but it did look tasty.

What an amazing establishment to visit. The food was amazing and the staff friendly. The atmosphere is great, inside or in the garden is equally enjoyable. The food is jam packed with flavour and well prepared. There are some surprises on the menu. Go give it a try!

Lovely ( but large well laid out Gardens) Pergola’s and outside seating space with views over the peaceful Wey and Arun Canal. Brilliant for Children & pets, 5 star service from the staff, well presented and knowledgeable, Had a peek inside lovely, cozy, clean. Lovely walk along the Canal then stop off for some refreshments, I was here on a lovely day Just after lockdown, staff have been well prepared a credit to them and management. While sitting here we was planing our next visit. Next time treat ourselves to 1 of their lovely main meals. Plenty of Parking, Theirs a wonderful children’s play area, Good for families! “keep the children entertained”
