This pub has a great atmosphere; it was cosy and inviting and full of people. When we arrived, the fire was lit and we were lucky enough to be sat right next to it. I went for the beef and stilton pie which comes with chips, some steamed veg and a big jug of gravy. All the pies are homemade, and at £15, very reasonably priced. The rest of the menu was extensive with plenty of other lighter options if you don't want to commit to a big old pie! My dog was right at home here too. It seems popular with dog walkers as there were quite a few other fluffy companions in the pub at the time. This is a great spot for wholesome, fairly priced food in a lovely setting.

A truly wonderful pub. Great atmosphere, wonderful choices of ales, and homemade pies that are out of this world. Found this whilst moving a boat and would certainly recommend a visit. If you're on a boat then there are good moorings and a great place to stop before, or after, Lapworth! You can even buy the pies frozen or chilled to take away. Staff were very pleasant and friendly and pub had a lovely atmosphere. I have recommended the steak and ale pie only because it was the only one I had - but all of the other ones sounded equally inviting.

Called in on recommendation of the marina we collected our narrow boat from, the pub was amazing! Although busy, staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, steak and stilton pie was incredible. A good range of beers to chose from, everything reasonably priced. Loved it so much we ate there again on our return journey, more pies were enjoyed, the following day we collect frozen pies to take home with us. Would highly recommend this charming country pub, with plenty of space inside and out, a great atmosphere, and really interesting history to the place.

I love the Fleur. We came here for my husband's birthday. It is such a great place with a great atmosphere, lovely staff and best of all ... pies! My favourite is the goats cheese pie, deeeelicious! Our dog loves it there too, so nice to be able to take her with us. She is always relaxed and happy there. This is definitely top of our list for birthdays, anniversaries, Sundays ... well any excuse really!

Stopped for beers and cider at this pleasant historic pub. A good selection of ales and ciders. A spacious beer garden runs down to the Stratford canal.

Lovely late end of week meal. Lovely food and atmosphere. Not far from the canal. Easy access bar. Able to order food and drink outside. Was lucky with the parking, usually quite packed. Lovely old style country pub on the canal. Was bringing food out to the green on the canal. Pre Covid would only deliver to the patio tables outside overly beams pub with open fireplaces.

This is an amazing place to come for business, a date or even with family. Private enough for a business luncheon. Public enough for a date. Good for mommy and daddy and the kids and the dog and the neighbour's cat. The waiters were polite and sadly there are no alternatives (for us who don't eat pork). So they can take out the bacon but won't replace with egg or mushrooms or beans. I found it sad for a 5 star place. Tip, get a starter. I know we all want to dive into the drinks and meal. Just a starter you can even share it and you will be proud of yourself for the rest of the year. At least you will have an out of home experience with a life time.

Lovely location, great food and good service. Just be mindful of the cost of the drinks to accompany your meal.
