I've been here twice, both times have been a good experience. Had a lovely lunch there today, the fish finger sandwich was really tasty and the salad with it was lovely and fresh. The service was very fast and its in such a nice place it was busy with people on such a nice day.
Fantastic tasty food for a dinner date. Beautiful soft cakes and strong coffee. For an afternoon.

Set in a small park close to Lowestoft North Beach. Excellent location with plenty of parking and walking opportunity. Close to Giardano Italian Restaurant. Both offering excellent food, Martello's coffee shop ( informal coffee shop , and Giordano ( Restaurant). Quality, choice and price, very good.
Excellent cafe really busy at Lunchtime when we went. Had a baguette of Suffolk sausage and caramelised onions and it was really good. Massive range of lovely cakes. Situated in a park and well worth a visit.

Breakfast was top notch again last week (9th January 2020), after a disappointing one in October.

Wonderful place for breakfast. It's slightly more money than most, but it's extremely well priced because the food isn't better anywhere I know locally. (Full English breakfast)

I had the omelette and coffee- gorgeous! The service was excellent, and on a sunny day, it was wonderful to be able to sit outside under a parasol.
Great food, nice choice on the menu some decent vegetarian choices, service is good polite helpfull staff, can sit inside or out.some amazing ice cream flavours.
Martello's is a great place to visit. It is located in sparrow's nest park We had a lovely walk, we brought peanuts in shells for the squirrels, they will come right up to you if you are patient. Afterwards we sat outside Martello's. It is a little sun trap. Plenty of seating and even a childrens p
