We had a family day out at Lowestoft today. We haven't eaten on the pier for years so we thought we'd give it a go. I have to say that my plaice and chips was probably one of the very best fish and chip meals I've ever had. Sweet, beautifully cooked fish, light batter and lovely chips. We had a mixture of dishes, cod and chips, chicken goujons and skate and chips and everyone cleared their plates. There were lots of nice little touches. Large, rectangular plates, a proper quartered lemon to squeeze on the fish, a jug of hot water to keep the teapot going, lovely china cups and saucers and large sachets of Stokes' sauces. Great views and the staff were lovely and helpful. We really really enjoyed it and will certainly go there again if we are in Lowestoft. Heartily recommended.
What a lovely little place.
Called in yesterday before driving back to South Yorkshire for a brew.
The coffee was really good and we had a cheeky bowl of chips which was smashing.
Most of all, even though we just wanted two drinks and a bowl of chips we were made welcome. Really enjoyed the view too.
We were only in town for an hour but found a gem.
Had a breakfast and an all day brunch here and both have been absolutely delicious, high quality ingredients and nice condiments, highly recommend :)
We came to this lovely restaurant last Saturday night evening, was wonderful! Great food, great service and amazing view of the sea. We would definitely recommend!
Beautiful food and large, fresh portions too. Polite staff and our three dogs welcomed.
Would reccomend and return to sample all the fish and other tasty meals they have to offer any day.

Really nice food and dog friendly. lovely views across the beach and sea. Staff are friendly and polite.
At this time of year we like to go out for a walk by the coast on a Sunday evening and stop for a cuppa somewhere but so many places close early on a Sunday so it was nice to find a pleasant place open after 6! We only had a hot drink but observed that it was a very clean and modern establishment with lovely views over the sea! The menu looked varied too!
Fantastic breakfast by the sea. Had a family bday brunch meet up and the service was fantastic, the breakfast delicious and the views stunning. Quality produce and plenty of it. Simply perfect. Highly recommend.
Very nice setting, view down the beach, generally great food and the staff are friendly. You will probably get a bigger meal for less in a Joe bloggs chip shop but it's worth it for the setting.

Returned there a couple of weeks ago ordered scones again and found them inedible and stale. Returned them twice. Please sort this is issue out
