Just had a beautiful Sunday Roast and yummy pudding at the crown, service was excellent. Very reasonable prices and good home cooked food. Will be returning lots!!!

I called in on a lunchtime to get some food whilst I was on my way somewhere. Only the smaller bar food menu is available at Lunchtimes. This consists of typical British pub food. I went for the sausage and chips. It was excellent. Very much like you'd have at home. Exactly what I want from a pub, basic but really nice food. Service was excellent too. I was surprised to find it was close to deserted though, this is a great pub which deserves your support.
Not much of a drinker personally. Met up with my family to watch football, felt very welcomed by the happy staff. Beer was good, Happy to let grandchildren play on park as its away from the road and carpark. Didn't eat but food looked good. Tried to find menu online before I went but couldn't access one. Maybe it's only on social media which I don't do, Shame that.
Good pub, good beer, good kids play area. Fair on prices.
Stopped in here for beers in the week we were working. Friendly staff , cost atmosphere and fantastic local beers and ales .
We broke down in the car park, and the staff (and customers) were so friendly and accommodating, we felt very settled after the stress of a break down, and they let us charge our phones so we could arrange recovery.
I'm only sorry I didn't buy more than the one drink as I didn't know I'd be there as long as I was, but if were in the area we Will 100% be popping in for an evening.

★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ Really lovely family meal for my Birthday, the food was so yummy and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is clean, as are the toilets (always a plus for me!) and the outside seating area is really lovely. The prices are very reasonable and the menu has a good selection of food plus there is a specials board if you do fancy something a little different. The bar staff and waitresses were lovely, they clearly wanted to make sure we had a nice time and enjoyed the food but they weren’t overbearing at all (there’s nothing worse than being asked every 5 minutes if “everything is ok”) and we could tell that they genuinely cared if ‘everything was OK’ because they waited and listened to our replies (I’ve had many waitresses not even wait for a reply before walking g off in other pubs/restaurants!). Thank you for a lovely lunch, we are all looking forward to returning again soon ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★
Nice clean pub. Friendly Staff. Good selection of Lager and Beer. The loos are 5***** Not my local. But most definitely be back.
Love place to pop in for a pint. The young lady working happy hour was polite, friendly and so very helpful. Especially as we were allowed to bring our dog into the bar. What's more we arrived at happy hour and had happy beer!
Have eaten here twice before, first time excellent, second time was absolutely awful!
Maybe they were having a bad day !!
Thought we would try again a year later....
What a difference. Had a really lovely meal. Food cooked beautifully and delivered to our table quickly with a smile.

Have used this pub for the first time this weekend and don't have a single complaint. In fact the staff were very friendly and so were the management and they've even got the stone foundation on the jukebox so winner all round. This has' my new local written all over it.' Thankyou the Crown. BTW its very reasonably priced.
