Having walked around the historic area of Lowestoft searching for a cuppa in vain, we discovered Heil's Bakery. A great cafe with pleasant, helpful staff. I had a very well-filled bacon butty and my husband enjoyed a tasty quiche. Excellent value and obviously a very popular destination for locals.
Got food here most days throughout February whilst working in the area, the food was the best in the area bye far, fast service and polite staff who were up for a laugh too
Very delicious food made fresh. Staff are funny and very accommodating. Definitely come here for lunch
The best bakery in town. If you haven’t tried a vanilla cream muffin you’re missing out. Always have a fry up, marca always cooks it to my slimmingworld needs. Always a spot on fry up.

Food was delicious and staff were nice and friendly.

Won't give it 5 stars but certainly warrants 4+ My iced bun was very good, very fresh & fruity. My pot of tea was fine - hot & tasty. The decor is very dated but clean & tidy. Good choice of hot & cold savouries and desserts on display. Superb looking cooked breakfast being prepared as I waited for

We returned to this lovely bakery for the second time in the last few months. When ever we are in this area, lwe always call in for a coffee and something to eat from the wonderful display of cakes and savory eats. We will be back soon.
