We have visited the restaurant a few times when having a stroll along the prom. Very friendly staff who made us welcome. We had a sandwich lunch with chips on our first visit and breakfast on our second. Both meals were very tasty along with a nice decaf Latte. We'll return and maybe dry a coffee and cake as the selection looks tempting.

Afternoon Tea is a MUST. We had this in the library room with the window view of the sea. There was my Mum, Grandma and I for Mums birthday. It was delicious. A lovely selection of sandwiches. Variety of cakes. Just incredible.

What a little gem of a place on the seafront watching the waves and watching for the arrival of the kittiwakes into their own hotels (2). The avocado mash is off the menu now so changed to traditional English breakfast and it was excellent. Prefer avocado mash as a healthy option please!!!!!! Only gripe is the very large step up from bar area to dining area for older customers like myself. It was an effort. Staff are always courteous and efficient. Breakfast now available until 2.30 pm Well done chef too!!!’

This hotel is a smashing place to stay . Food was excellent and the bar staff Millie and Kaylan were brilliant and great hosts with the amazing cocktails and service . 5 star . The room was great for just 2 of us and sea view was amazing . Walking distance to the town centre and lovely to walk on the beach . Will definitely come back soon .

Bit of a tired building but it's alright. We were a large group which sent our list through a few days in advance which was lost. But then the staff did sort out the service after that and food was hot and tasted good.

Right on the seafront. I never had a sea view, just a KFC view, but that didn't detract from my appreciation of this hotel at all. The reception (and everything else) was excellent (cheers Robert), and we decided to eat in the hotel. Marvellous, see the photos. We were served by the famous Cate, who is favourably mentioned in a lot of reviews abd and I can see why. The jewel in the crown for me was the real kippers for breakfast... brilliant.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this lovely hotel, which is in a prime sea front location right on the main promenade overlooking the beach. The rooms were comfortable, and even though the hotel was undergoing some renovation works during our stay, it didn't detract from our holiday. All the staff were very polite and helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. The bar and restaurant offered a wide range of beers and wines and a good variety of meals on the menu. We dined there on our first evening, and both had a lovely meal. We both recommend the Baileys cheesecake for desert.. You won't be disappointed!! 😀

Lovely restaurant with extensive Sunday carvery, hot plates, large portions of roast meats with lots of vegetables. Fantastic views overlooking the sea. Staff very attentive , Becca & Ella. Would definitely recommend, but arrive early, to avoid disappointment as table fill up very quickly. Lisa&Phil Mason

Nice place for a drink and a bite to eat. Good selection of food and drink available so you can sit on the terrace and watch the sea roll in while you dine. Prices are about right. It's not the cheapest but it's worth a visit. Disable access to the terrace and dogs welcome outside. Didn't stay in the rooms, so cannot comment on them. This was a visit to the restaurant. Would happily go back and sit with a drink. The location is perfect and halfway down the prominade.
