Very nice pub that's split in half (half restaurant, half bar). Seasonal menu, pizza menu (including dessert pizzas) and a specials board all fairly priced. Would have loved to see some more pub classics on the menu though like gammon egg and chips, however their selection is good and will please most hungry folk! Had Garlic mushrooms and battered cauliflower to start, scampi + fish and chips for main and a very nice apple crumble for dessert. Pleasant experience and good service. No cocktails available in the menu though, please implement some! Would come more often!
We went on a Thursday night. Completely empty and we dined for 1 1/2 hours and had the place to ourselves. Had a nice intimate evening not having to talk over other people, would reccomend. Note that their kitchen is shut on Mon + Tues tho
The real ale, as always, was well kept and in top condition. The pub was busy with a nice atmosphere. I tried one of the pizzas from the menu. This is a new range so the first time I had one. I tried the Ham and Shroom. Really delicious and highly recommended. Most enjoyable evening.
We held our wedding lunch at the Norman Warrior recently. The staff were all very friendly , the food was great too. Very reasonably priced drinks, lovely beer garden, great size restaurant. What more could we ask for. Thanks Shaun, we appreciated everything you arranged for us and for the staff being so kind and helpful.
Very nice afternoon spent having food and drinks in busy beer/ family garden.(American fun day) Plenty to keep kids occupied. Good entertainment by singers and friendly atmosphere, kids face painting and Disney characters for photos with the kids.
The food is amazing and a very good price you won't be hungry after having lunch hear , prawn baguette, chunky chips and slaw, and bacon, brie and cranberry baguette

Really friendly old pub. The food is very good value, hot and plentyful. They also put on an amazing afternoon tea for us for 16 when we can to lay my Mum in Law to rest. Don't know the lady's name who prepared it but everything was home made including a separate gluten free tea, everything beautifully presented. We were there all afternoon and never rushed. Thanks everyone. 🍒
Stopped here whilst on holiday with the kids and dogs. Little climbing frame which kept the kids busy. Nice food at a reasonable price would recommend.
Been here numerous of times for evening meals and Christmas dinner.
Great staff, great variety of food for both vegetarian and normal people and good selection of drink. Plenty of parking too.
Not sure if this should get 4 or 5 stars. It depends on what your perception is and what you are comparing it with.
It's a bit like walking into a time warp, 30 - 40 years ago. A good old fashioned proper pub. A good selection of beers and other drinks. There is a restaurant area as well as two bars. The food is superb. Good variety on the menu, large portions and everything tastes great. All this at sensible prices with lovely service from smiling staff. Outside there is a large carpark with easy access from the road. All definatly worth a visit.

Recently had my grandads wake here, the pub had put out a spread for us that was very good and fresh. Pub is very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault anything
Could not fault this pub. Called 10 minutes before we arrived explaining we had 3 dogs and 8 people for dinner. Nothing was a problem and the food was plentiful. A nice warm welcoming atmosphere.

Although the food that I had was lovely, I had my heart set on either a mixed grill or a lovely steak for my birthday meal but ended up having. Steak pie chips and veg pudding was lemon meringue sundae. Very friendly staff, lovely food great company. Will go back for my steak when they are back to a bit more normality.
Went for the beer/cider festival held in the beer garden. Plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Selection of food available. Always worth a visit. Have previously had drinks in the bar and eaten food in the restaurant. Always been good standard pub food with plenty choice and an often changing choice of ales.
Great decent pub, I've had food here before and it was really nice. Fantastic selection of local and small-batch beer and cider.

It's a great proper pub. Like before so many places were brought out by franchise/corporation type company's. The food is good and really genuinely cheap. Great atmosphere over Christmas 2017.
