Amazing food, been here a few times and have never had a bad meal here. Brought my son along at the weekend and he said the chicken and white wine pie was delicious and the best he had ever had. The chicken supreme is my favourite dish on the menu, served with the best dauphinoise potatoes ever. Would definitely recommend
Yesterday me and my family had our Christmas meal here. The food was great, reasonably priced and the staff were very professional. A lovely and cosy pub. Will definitely return. My future son in law said it was the best Christmas dinner he had eaten in a pub.
We're here regular dinners are always outstanding as are the specials. Only thing I'd change is desert menu .people love a bit of stodge a chocolate cake,a plain cheesecake ,not a fan of figs or spices added to classics. Whack a chocolate desert on there and I'd give it 6 stars .not a complaint by any means just a suggestion. But always top quality service and generous amounts .we love it
I love this place the food is amazing fresh with amazing ingredients, the staff are very helpful and friendly will worth a visit
Went there for my mums 90th birthday yesterday, I can’t fault anything, we were greeted by a lovely young lady, who was very respectful of our 3 rather elderly, and not too fast recycled teenagers, and so helpful, the food and atmosphere were fantastic and I must say well worth the four hours it took to reunite our family, when next in Kent I will definitely revisit. Yours Chris Graham.
Love this pub.. food it's delicious-all home made. Always have a good pudding menu. Staff always welcoming and atmosphere is great. Proper country pub with open fire and hops. Also do some great events in the summer
Recently went for my birthday Food was excellent homemade Roast & pudding to die for was stuffed! 😁 in a lovely garden setting.., went the other day drinks n meal can’t fault it 😁
We had a large table for a special family birthday and had a fab evening. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly attentive staff... would recommend 100%
We had a lovely meal to celebrate a birthday. We all chose something different and were all very happy with our meals. The service was friendly. This is the fourth time we have eaten here and have never been disappointed.
Went there yesterday for a belated birthday lunch with two of my mates. Was a really nice place, the food i ordered came piping hot and quicker than i expected. The staff that we dealt with (think the lad's name was Oliver) were very friendly, even if i almost died from embarrassment when they sang Happy Birthday to me lol. I would go back again

Beautiful food . Recommended by a friend , she wasn’t wrong. Locally sourced food , portions are on the large size, reasonable cost ££ it’s great value , great country pub with good service .
The food is amazing. Good menu with the usual and some not so usual.
Brilliant cosy atmosphere on a fairly big pub.
Definitely recommend it to all including families.
Beer, food and staff all excellent. Unusual menu. Good portions here, not half empty plates with spots of reduction.
Always have a great meal here, with friendly staff and a professional service. The dogs like visiting and getting treats and attention too.
Such a great old pub. We went a few times while staying in Kent. We absolutely loved it! Food is excellent, big portions and great quality. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere is happy and cheerful. The pub is really clean too and kept really well. Thank you!
As usual The Three Tuns was absolutely fantastic! They catered for my birthday, a large table of 11 and everything was fabulous. The food came out quickly and perfectly cooked, everything so super hot and up to standards. I cannot recommend this pub enough, we come so often and every-time it’s just absolutely brilliant, the staff are so kind and very good with fitting in needs and wants. There’s a small parking lot or ample parking on the road outside and around the village. 10/10 recommend anyone to visit for any occasion.
Had meal last night was really good, staff were friendly, food was very nice scotch eggs and wild mushrooms we shared our starter, we had fish plater for main shared that as well. Couldn't fit a pudding in 😥. Pub started to get busy as we was leaving. Price wasn't to expensive either. Thank you..
Tasty, delicious and homely. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the service is knowledgeable and efficient.
I had family visiting that have never been to England. So for their first experience of an English pub lunch there's no where better. Thank you very much everyone loved their pre wedding lunch. We will definitely come again soon. One more scotch eggs are just the best!
We're lucky to be in the same village as this pub and have had 100+ meals there. Food is always lovely, as are the staff. Daily specials are always a treat in addition to the regular menu.
There is always a fantastic selection for local beer, ales and cider. The owners also do their utmost to select as many ingredients for food from as many local suppliers as possible.
There's a separate restaurant area to the right as you walk in the front door as well as seating in the main and side bar. Hops hand from the beamed ceiling and it has a nice old rustic feel.
The pub has a very welcoming and warm feel to it. The main bar has especially cosy feel with the fires lit during the colder seasons. There is plenty of space in the beer garden, and both inside and out are dog friendly.
It was always busy, and you need to book to ensure a table! We highly recommend the pub and food!
This was our first time here but certainly won't be the last.
We all had quite different meals, including a pasta dish, a curry and good old pie & veg.
All the food was outstanding with excellent portion sizes and the desserts were also delicious.
The decor and atmosphere is great and all of the staff were very polite and courteous.
Honestly can't think of anything negative to say; a lovely place.
Visited this evening for a catch-up with some friends. This was my first time visiting and loved it! From the friendly staff and very welcoming owner to the decor and the stunning food! I picked the 2-course meal from the festival menu and it was damn good! For starters, I had the wild boar and for my main(see the picture) I had the braised belly pork with blue cheese mash. It was stunning. Very well priced for the quantity and quality.
The pub itself is a traditional pub with a touch of modernity. The roaring fire just near the entrance was a welcoming sight.
Certainly worth several visits! I would suggest booking ahead, we were lucky they were able to accommodate us. You can see why this pub is successful.
I loved my visit to The Three Tuns. I stopped off whilst on a bike ride through the beautiful countryside surrounding the village and had a lovely meal and a pint in the garden. Everything went very well and I really enjoyed the food and the surroundings.
I opted for a Cajun chicken burger which was very tasty and well worth the money.
The staff were very nice and professional and all the timings were spot on (service, waiting for food, asking if everything was okay, would I like another drink ,etc). I also enjoyed the music that was being played and I look forward to visiting again sometime soon.
Revisited the pub and I am pleased to report that it is just as good if not better than my first visit. I was on a bit of an epic bike ride so I only opted for the Cheesy Chips🍟 this time but other people where having main meals and they looked and smelled delicious 😋 .
There is a reclaimed nature reserve known as The Old Brickworks opposite The Three Tuns. It is well worth a look whilst you are visiting as there are some lovely views of the boats out on the water (or maybe in the mud if the tide is out!) and of the local church just a matter of metres from the front of the pub and many people walk their dogs there before stopping off in the pub for a pint.
As I mentioned before, this is a great pub, highly recommended and I will be back again and hopefully soon!! 🙂
Fantastic stop if from a long cycle. Lovely pint of Guinness 🤩

First time visiting here on Friday 2nd Dec 2022 and was very impressed, staff friendly and very attentive and food was lovely - we will definitely be back for sure thank you guys !! Nothing was too much trouble.
First time eating there today, I had their seafood platter and my partner had fish chips and mushy peas. Very reasonably priced for both quality and portion sizes. Friendly attentive staff, but not in your face, they timed their table checks perfectly. Great place, with a nice friendly atmosphere.
A cosy quirky dog friendly country pub with lovely staff.
The food was amazing however there wasn’t much choice and it was lacking vegetarian variety.
Avoid the car park as getting out was an absolute nightmare. We had to ask about four other cars to move so that we could vacate despite arriving when it was empty.
We had a lovely valentines day meal, with canopies, starters, sorbet, main course, dessert and teas and coffees. We couldn't be happier with the meal and the service and a nice pint of curious brew always goes down well!
We loved our meal at the Three Tuns. I had the seabass followed by the chocolate fondant. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was fast and friendly and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Really lovely place. Was invited by friends and glad we accepted. Had a lovely welcome by a lady inside. Shown to a really nice table. Good excellent - nice to see liver on the menu (YES!!!!!! My favourite!!). Everyone’s meal was cooked to perfection, desserts were great apparently (I didn’t have one) and my husbands cheeseboard was lovely.
Parking is a bit tricky but we car shared and eventually found a space.
Definitely go back. Lovely old place brought into modern times.
Great food with a menu to suit all tastes. Staff friendly and efficient
