Just had a home delivery for the takeaway Sunday lunch - everything was absolutely spot on (you need to reheat yourself). The meat was really tasty and there was loads of lovely fresh veg and I can't praise them enough. Best of all though were the helpful staff who took the order and delivered. Thanks so much, we'll be doing that again. And there's a Christmas day option which looks amazing!!
Recently had Sunday lunch here, a bit short staffed, but as a party of eight, we were well looked after. The food was very nice, we were brought plenty of vegetables to help ourselves to. Desert was lovely too. Very reasonably priced for the two courses. We will definitely be going àgain.
Just called in for lunch. Food came nicely presented and very tasty. A bit short of staff but girl explained a group had booked at last minute. Didn't make any difference as everyone was catered for and not a long wait. Well done.

Lovely chilled out pub. We loved the decor and ambience, really cosy sofas and low lighting made for a super relaxed evening. We enjoyed the food too (spring rolls and classic burger). Big shout out to the absolutely lovely Rebecca for whom nothing was too much trouble, so friendly and welcoming, top class customer service. Great pub, we will definitely return next time we're in the area. Ps Thank you Rebecca for recommending Hubbards Hills for a local walk, we went there today and it's gorgeous!.
It is hard to give a proper review as we were attending a friend's wake, but having said that it's a very nice place inside and had lots of staff to look after us. Since this visit we have returned on 2 occasions and it has been a very pleasant experience both times it was for lunch and the service has been excellent and the food was first class.
Value for money the food was excellent the service very poor other tables served before us had to ask for the table to be cleared and the dessert menu asked for some drinks took 15 minutes to take our order such a shame
The staff are very nice,but takes forever to get served. Would not recommend if expected quicker than very slow.
Sunday lunch, no reservation but not a problem, great food and friendly helpful staff.
I have visited The Miller's Daughter on several occasions and would highly recommend it for the quality of the meals, the excellent service and the good beer, easy to park as there is a good Co - op car park next to it and if you shop at the Co-op you get your car park money back. Good day out.
