Called in today, 26th October, with our two dogs. We had been in one Sunday and liked this pub. Back in Louth, looking for table in antique centre. Only wanted a snack as dinner waiting at home. We decided on a steak, onion and mushroom baguette with chips and salad. We asked for baguette to be cut in two as we were going to share. It came out, beautifully presented, on two separate plates with very generous portions. Absolutely delicious. Wood burner alight, very cosy with a nice ambience. A shame this pub is not nearer to us in Lincoln.

I was out mid afternoon with my two teenage children looking for somewhere to eat. I noticed the sign outside saying that food was served until 8pm. We thought we would give it a try and we were astonished. The burgers were delicious and beautifully presented. I had fish and chips which was a huge piece of great fish, cooked like a fish and chip shop. What a find. Great cosy atmosphere, welcoming staff and wonderful food. We will return.

Yet another lovely meal at the Swanne. Food is always good, great menu, good choice of drinks. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Beer garden is so pretty and inside in the winter with its roaring fires is equally as nice. A proper good old traditional pub. Thank you 😊

The Swanne is a very nice traditional pub on Eastgate in the market town of Louth. Its an historic place and lays claim of possibly being the oldest public house in Louth (1612).It's quite small inside with some originality and cosy atmosphere. Serves a good selection of real ales, beers, wines and spirits. I found the atmosphere pleasant and the staff friendly. They serve a good selection of bar meals. There's a large modern and comfortable beer garden at the rear. The wheelchair access and facilities are reasonable however space is a little limited in some areas inside. Credit cards are accepted here and they have a 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 food hygiene rating. Food review September 2023. The menu has a mixture of traditional and modern here, the burgers seem popular with the locals. I opted for the homemade Steak and ale Pie with mashed potatoes and garden peas and a pint of larger. The pie was very nice with a good crust and a deep filling with plenty of tender steak in a rich sauce.👌 I paid £11.95 for my meal.

Walking around Louth doing some shopping and came across this lovely dog friendly little pub, warm and welcoming, treats for our dog.Ordered two small breakfasts which were freshly cooked came on piping hot plates which is always a plus for me as hate hot food served on cold plates. Couldnt fault at all as food was locally sourced and great price. Will definitely be visiting again.👍👍

Great pub, we called in on Sunday afternoon on our way back from the East Coast. Bar staff all nice and friendly, food prices were very reasonable with plenty of choice. They also had a wide range of Belgian beers. I will definitely call in again if I am in the area.

It’s an absolute gem 10/10 all day long. Just had the most amazing Lincolnshire Ploughman’s Lunch here at Ye Olde Whyte Swanne. The best ploughman’s lunch I’ve ever had, bar none. Not to mention the great selection of ales.

First time here bar staff were very friendly and had great service throughout. Drinks are also reasonably priced. Food was standard pub grub. The garden is to die for! A proper sun trap too. Will be stopping by next time we are in louth

We have just left this pub and what a lovely place, makes me want to go back. We stopped off on our way home to leeds from Lincolnshire with our two bernese mountain dogs, the beer garden was busy and lots of friendly people came to say hello to them. We ate and the food was superb, reasonably priced and fast friendly service. Would love to go again.
