Came in with a takeaway order for 12 people on Friday, can’t fault the place at all. The service was friendly & welcoming. The food was lovely! Everyone complimented the fish, great portion size too! Safe to say the office wasn’t very productive in the afternoon after that! Highly recommend, thank you!
Chippy tea tonight and it did not disappoint. Lovely piece of fish and good portion of very good chips. Daughter had chicken nuggets and loved them and hubby had pie and chips. All went down a storm. Will def be back. love the boxes the meals are served in too. keep this standard and you will do amazing x

Been here a couple of times now and can only say Wow!! Best Fish and chips we’ve had in a long long time. Batter is just perfect with the fish inside cooked to perfection. Only four stars, because of the Tea served. Despite leaving it to brew. Sadly I couldn’t drink it and I absolutely love Tea :)

I had a brilliant Haddock and Chips and my friend had a vegetarian burger and Chips. It was all cooked perfectly and I will definitely return. The curry sauce was awesome and the staff were very friendly.
A very nice, clean fish and chip shop and restaurant. Staff were polite and friendly, service was quick, and the prices were competitive. They had good fresh fish which is a must in a good chippy, and we'll be happy to return.

Lovely place.. Good quality of food. Fish wasn't greasy at all and good portion size with reasonable price. We were on holidays and enjoyed eating there. Staff was very lovely too
We have been to Mr Chips a few times now and every times we. have really enjoyed every aspect of the visit there the quality of the service and food is excellent when our family are down in May we are taking them there we have told them so much about the place they can't wait .So we think top marks for Mr Chips.Anne and Ron Lupton .

One of the first picks if you want really good fish and chips either to take out or sit in the restaurant. Always good service and consistent quality of meal. Would recommend.

We both had cod and chips with a side of bread and butter. The food was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish this was on my doorstep so I could visit regularly.
First visit since it reopened. Service good. Only two young guys working did a great job. Ordered small haddock and chips. Very nice. Chips lovely and the fish was cooked well with a nice tasting batter. Someone else had the cheeseburger and chips, said it was good.
Customer toilet bit of a letdown. Not v nice.
