Excellent friendly pub. Great atmosphere. Outstanding food quality. Well managed. Visited as a large group today all meals served hot and promptly. Very reasonable prices and large portions. Will definantly return.

Lovely pub on the edge of Epping Forest with friendly bar staff and locals. It's good for families and small groups. The food is excellent and the ales are well kept. The beer garden is lovely and has over twenty picnic tables to sit on and you can order food to eat outside. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden but must be kept on a lead. There is also a car park. The desserts are great, the brownie is very nice indeed!

Excellent, Sat in garden,under a tent like structure, with nice decorated trees to add to ambience. Immediately found a table, very prompt service from friendly staff ,food delicious.

Excellent pub, with delicious food. Enjoyed the minted lamb chops and chorizo chicken dishes. We'll surely be back next time we're in Loughton.
The Queen Victoria allows dogs they gained five stars just for that consideration. Food not bad and atmosphere is good.
Always a lovely meal. Can highly recommend their Green Thai curry. Chicken or seafood version. For the area, prices are really good. Lovely outside seating, with a covered area and a quirky seating pod. This is my favourite pub in Loughton.
Very busy Saturday night but they coped with it well good beer outside seating and clean toilets
Not cheap (Β£5.90 a pint) but nice Summer atmosphere, plenty of good outside seating (with some in shade) and varied food menu. Its a lovely stop off for couples, family and friends x

Excellent selection of beers and nice outside seating. great for pint after a walk in Epping Forest.
It's a nice place. Looks good and plenty of space outside. No table service so orders are by the bar. We been there 2wice and both times I enjoyed food that I ordered, portions are big. We tried burgers and curry so far. This place is children friendly and children food also comes in generous amounts. Service by the bar is fair, nothing to complain, but not particularly friendly or smiley.
All and all we will visit this place again and I would recommend it.
