Unfortunately the food looked too good that I didn't think to take a photo before starting so the pic is of my take home box & dessert. Gluten free Sweet Potato & Spinach Tart followed by GF Lemon Meringue Roulade. Claire was a great hostess today, the atmosphere was perfect for lunch with friends and the food was delicious! Would definitely choose the Waterside again.

Lovely place, went for a meal, on a Friday night so was a bit busy but still got food very quickly π. Food was very nice and well priced, amazing staff very friendly 5 π
Gardens are amazing for the kids. Service was great. Food was fast to the table but perfect. Gluten free menu available and delicious also! Not too expensive either. Outside bar open when it got busy which is awesome. Can't complain at all and will definitely return!
Beautiful lockside pub with visitor moorings, friendly staff and good reasonably priced food, certainly 12-5 π ale isn't the be laughed at neither π
Love this place! If you want to be able to turn up to a waterside pub garden and know there will be a table - this is the place! They have sooo many tables outside that although they were very busy on Bank Holiday Weekend, there were still some free tables. You order food on your phone and I can highly recommended the nacho cheese burger! It was incredible. Fast service too and lovely staff! There is a play area and bouncy castle to entertain the kids too!
A nice lovely pub on the water side. Great on a sunny day. They have plenty of outdoor seating and often bouncy castles for children.
Normal pub grub menu with the ability to order from your phone which is always a bonus. The food tasted good but I thought the portion sizes could have been a bit bigger for the price charged.
Overall a nice stop for some lunch and a drink. Plenty of parking. Friendly and welcoming staff.
The Waterside Inn is in a lovely location, even on a wintry January day. I love their menu, especially their chicken shashlik starter, which makes a great small plate lunchtime choice. I usually stop off on a nice (much warmer), sunny day, whilst walking along the towpath, but be warned, it is very popular choice (understandably), so can get busy. A cold January mid-week lunchtime was quieter, but still had a very welcoming buzz.
Very nice pub with huge outdoor seated area next to the canal.
Bouncy castle for the kids so adults can relax and enjoy.
Lots of parking too.
Food was excellent, I had the chimichurri steak flatbread which was really nice.
My wife had an issue with her steak but after a quiet word with the manager everything was quickly put right and a complimentary wine as apology.
Brilliant management skills! Well done we will definitely be back
