I booked a table for 20 and the service was fantastic. Each member of staff was incredibly friendly and they came over multiple times to ensure we were enjoying ourselves.
We added some food to the order as we arrived and they were very accomodating and added to the order no problem.
The food was lovely - all cooked by a single chef who was fantastic cooking food for the entire party. There was a good amount of options available for the vegetarian and vegan members of our party.
The place is also dog friendly and at least four different members of staff offered our dogs water bowls and dog biscuits.
We would definitely come again and recommend this place to anyone else interested!

We came over for the netball at the university after my cousins friend recommended it. Well what a little gem this is, the weather was delightful so we can in one of the booths. This was mega comfy and had an infrared heater and cushions and a lovely blanket. The outside space is plentiful and a really nice environment to be in.
What we liked was the chilled vibe and mixture of the crowd. It wasn't too cool and there were children, 20 somethings, 30 somethings and beyond. My mum loved it and felt right at home
There was a singer was absolutely incredible, like honestly amazing and ee preferred her covers to some of the originals.
What we really liked about this place was all the little details.
We had 2 pizzas as there is an oven and I had the burger. All of which were very good. I loved the belly pork side 😋
Being pregnant I'm on the mocktails, these were very reasonably priced and I didn't feel like the dag of the group!
Tania who runs things came and introduced herself. What a lovely lady, she was super nice, really engaging znd welcomed us into this lovely space!
A lot of effort has gone into this place and we shall definitely be back! A very enjoyable afternoon had by all xx
Had a lovely afternoon here with the family. Pizzas outside with live music. Was a great atmosphere! A staff member was visiting tables too see if everyone was ok & kindly helped us get the kid’s favourite desert sticky toffee pudding that wasn’t on the menu. It was much appreciated! Would recommend!
Only had a couple of drinks. Garden has plenty of seating with and without shelter, whether sheltering from the sun or rain. Dog friendly. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Place is well kept, bright, clean.
Relaxed bar that serves food. There was a pretty good atmosphere when I was there. Bit disappointed that a few of the lagers and Guiness were not being served.

I would of taken pictures but everything was so yummy I didn’t manage to! Myself and my colleague had pizzas; I am vegan and they were very accommodating to me having vegan cheese and my colleague having olives extra on hers (without any additional cost). The staff were lovely, accommodating and know how to make a fantastic cocktail! Special shout-out to Tania with her really welcoming energy. Highly recommend Jam Garden if you’re in Loughborough
Such a good spot, not been in for years but a great vibe, busy and friendly, great mix of people, food looked great (friends ate, I didn't this time but will) and nice choice of beers not seen around the town. I will be back. Tanya is a star, had to mention her specifically, great host!
Landlady was clearing the tables and was really freindly and chatty.. Atmosphere is great.. Lot of youngers(student type) but to be expected.. No trouble though.. Would recommend going.. Outside area is great.. That's where we sat..
Love the place! Great drink selection, amazing atmosphere inside and out in the beer garden, and lovely service every time I'm there. It's becoming a favourite place of mine, especially in Loughborough. Highly recommend!
The pizza is legendary! Such an amazing atmosphere created by staff and the service was brilliant. Bear garden is the best in Loughborough!
Tanya and Sophie (new management) are great - very friendly and helpful. Wide range of drinks available and the food is amazing - especially the pizzas.

Food was amazing, everyone was very happy with the food. 10/10.
Loses a star for not initially honouring the deal for a free pint of Guinness for everybody eating food with the 6Nations booking. When we went to claim them we were told we should have claimed them whilst ordering food but we weren't told this at the time and didn't want our Guinness immediately anyway. Eventually we got some of the extra Guinesses though.
Relaxed atmosphere and nice outdoor space to sit in on a warm evening. Staff very helpful when booking a table and taking pre orders for food.
Always busy nice atmosphere but they rip you off on the cocktails jugs
