It was a brilliant restaurant in Loughborough. I visited here today as I wanted to have Thai food. I had fried rice, spring rolls and coconut rice. All of them were very delicious and I will be visit here again when I visit Loughborough soon.

The food here was fantastic. The portion sizes were so generous and everything was full of flavour. The vegetable spring rolls and prawn tempuras were perfectly crisp and light. The ingredients were clearly fresh and well prepared, we thoroughly enjoyed both starters. For the main course we selected pad Thai and red curry, both were delicious and despite the mammoth portions we couldn’t help but to clear our plates! The Pad Thai came with a small pot of spices which really elevated the dish, it brought a warming heat and welcomed further layers of flavour. Our only complaint would be the service, we were poorly attended to. After some minutes of sitting at our empty table I had to collect our own menus and request that our order be taken. Furthermore, our starter dishes were not cleared until the main courses were being served. The servers never once checked on us during the meal which was rather disappointing. Overall, we would certainly come here again. There was no denying the food was gorgeous, hopefully next time the service will live up to the quality of the dishes.

Food portions were large and the food was delicious. A noteable drink was the Thai milk tea, it's probably the best tea I've ever had, the flavour was so good. Staff was friendly and service was quick.

Such a gem!! I've been going for years, tried loads of dishes and all of them are great!! Everyone I've brought there has enjoyed it and I'm so happy every time I get to eat there. The staff are so great as well. Food is affordable and I would come into Loughborough just for Sonnys.

Is it closed now. Drove from Leicester today but shop fully closed. Looks permanently closed. So sad if shut. Love their noodle soups. Update.... Not closed... They were closed August as they were having some work done and on staff holiday. Phew...... Noodle soup yum yum

Great Thai food, would recommend the fried fish in their special chili sauce. Food is 5/5 but drinks could be better.

I would give 5 starts if it weren’t for that green cake... that cake was not cold not hot not moist not tasty at all... But everything else was amazing and we returned like 3 times that week. We live in Leicester by the way. If you like Thai food this is the place for you... I love Zaap in Nottingham but this place has more variety and a tad lower in price.

Love this place! The food always comes really quick and the portion sizes are really generous. Not to mention that the food is really tasty. The crispy fried pork is delicious as is the pad thai and the curry. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend ordering here is the soup.

Amazing Thai food at a very reasonable price. The grilled pork with sticky rice was my favourite with the authentic somtum style. The portions were generous. Additionally, the location is in the heart of the city centre.
