Delightful! The food was out of this world and the staff so caring and nice. I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone. Best curry in Loughborough
Wonderful meal last night good food great company and fantastic staff that will any thing to please, doesn't get much better.
I have every intention of booking an anniversary meal for Aug 2nd
Excellent food, excellent staff, can highly recommend 5*****
Absolutely delicious food and really good polite service. I had the lamb Naga curry which was delicious. Excellent wine list. We had an Australian Shiraz and a Chilean Gewurztraminer both of which were outstanding. The owner was hospitable and helpful. Nice Kulfi to round the meal off. Highly recommended.
Had a lovely meal here with friends. The food was very tasty & they were happy to make any changes to the dishes if we wanted to. Very friendly welcome & staff very helpful. Will definitely be visiting again.
We had a fantastic Christmas works meal with my husbands work last Friday. Superb friendly service and amazing food. Fully recommend
Excellent food and great service , highly recommend
Wonderful food and first class service. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and wonderful service. Had an amazing fundraising meal tonight with great company. Loved the pathia dish.
It is a fantastic restaurant . The owner Mitu makes all his customers feel special, and the food is perfect.
I have never been to a friendlier restaurant and can say the food chosen for us was delicious.
Thank you for such beautiful food and amazing service!
Great takeaway last night Mitu , loved the prawns you suggested Thankyou ! Saved one for my lunch today
We went for the first time last night and we were very impressed. It was early, so it was empty when we got there, but several people did arrive before we left.
The staff were good and the food lovely. Average prices.
Had an overnight stay In Loughborough and looked for somewhere nearby to eat. Came across Eastern spice by chance. Best Indian I’ve had for years. Food was gorgeous, came very quickly and piping hot. Very well cooked and full of flavour.
Staff very pleasant and very much on the ball. Nothing too much trouble. Would love to go again as the menu was massive. Only problem I had was I was absolutely stuffed. I’ve had worse problems. Get yourselves there
Brilliant Indian food from lovely people. Very experienced owners and senior staff which shows. Great “old fashioned” experience in contemporary surroundings. We ordered the celebration lamb special and it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend.
Last time we went there were a dozen of us so hard to form an opinion. Last time, just Julia and myself. The owner used to serve at Eastern garden as was, 30 years ago. He went on his own 25 years ago with the chef and returned to Loughborough in recent years. Great food, articulate, intelligent, helpful owner. There's a lot of choice in Lobo but this is our new "go to"
Just don't choose the Vindaloo unless you know what your doing.
We travelled from Nottingham having seen other reviews and were not disappointed.
Friendly and attentive staff, really lovely subtlely flavoured food and good portions too. We will definitely visit again.
Booked a meal as part of out trip to Loughborough. The food was amazing and we ad totake the leftovers away to eat later.
Staff very attentive. Many takeaways going out of the door, probably due to the England QF on later that evening. Very reasonably priced. Book a table and go.
If Carlsberg did Indian restaurants, it would be like the Eastern Spice in Loughborough. Probably the best Indian meal I have ever had. Food delicious. Service Five Star.
Quick Service, Friendly Staff, outstanding Service. Food tasted amazing. Children tikka cooked perfectly with right amount of spices. I a big fan if Tarka dal and dal tasted Awesome here (must try). Definitely coming back with friends and family again.
Great place to eat, a fantastic Indian and being Leicestershire that's a high standard to obtain. Potion sizes are very generous, and staff are very welcoming and on it.
Two of us arrived at 10pm on Friday evening without a reservation and the staff were happy to serve us. We’d already walked past three curry houses in the town centre with no customers, but this place still had people in which I think must be testament to their reputation. Service was good and friendly, and we never felt rushed. Poppadoms fresh and addictive, king prawn puri and lamb chop tikka starters both really tasty. Fish curry (madras?) and chicken dansak for mains, boiled rice and a really soft fresh peshwari naan. If we’d only been having mains we might have found the portions a little small, but as part of a larger meal they were great. Would love to see some more dessert options, but the mango kulfi we shared was nice. A bottle of house wine at around £23, so not cheap but not extortionate either. Everything felt clean and cared for. Overall we’d really recommend, and we’ll be returning!
