Pretty good, plenty fish in the lakes, beautiful surroundings. The pegs could do with a good deal of maintenance, though. Several are unfishable, and some you risk losing gear in trees (evidence in trees confirms this)
Wanted to pay over the phone before I set off but couldn't get through but paid into the box when I got there.I had the quarry lake to myself .I think it was about 5 fish in an evening session which is quite good for me.

Good days fishing. Zillions of ducks on the main lake - amusing creatures. My husband caught some great and feisty carp. Ablutions were basic but clean. The very kind owner brought out some painkillers for me after seeing me hobble along (stepped wrong at home and put my back out). Good atmosph
Come back to fishing after 55 years and this is the ideal place to do it. I've just fished the large lake, lots of swims to choose from. Don't need expensive equipment. I use a 60 year old spinning rod. Never failed to catch. Largest haul over 40 fish in 6 hours
Fantastic trout fishing, great little bar on site that does beautiful locally sourced food, at a very reasonable price. Great place great people.

Very highly recommended.
