Popped in on a Monday night with no reservation and managed to get a table no bother. Ordered the chicken skewers for a starter and they were really good but the star of the show was the main course. I tried the lobster risotto from the specials board and it was incredible. The risotto was cooked in a lobster bisque and there was a generous lobster tail served on top that couldn't have been cooked any better that it was, it was absolutely perfect and a really amazing plate of food. The service was also excellent, they have a very friendly team and they run a tight ship, hopefully I find myself in the area again soon to try more of the menu
Nice food and great location. Service could be better. But all in all wouldn't stop us from going again.
The food was excellent as was the service. Good choice of food, which caters for all, from fish & burgers through to traditional meals & Pizzas.

We went here for dinner on our last night of our holidays. Able to get a table no problem as wasn't overly busy when we went but was early and during the time we were there got busier.
Service was really good, they did make a mistake with my partners meal but quick to rectify and apologise.
Food was lovely and would recommend going there.
Fabulous food fabulous friendly staff highly recommended we stayed in lossiemouth for a long weekends golf and could nor fault the food staff or atmosphere
Genuinely the nicest meal out I've had in ages. The stroganoff was amazing.
The staff are great, as is the restaurant/atmosphere, the food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable too.
Definitely worth visiting if you get the chance, though I'd recommend booking a table before you visit to avoid disappointment.

Marvellous dining experience in this cellar type restaurant on the seafront facing the new bridge. Excellent menu. We had Venison stew, a scot it all burger??and a delicious sweet chilli beef with rice, skinny fries and Naan Bread. There is also a great range of desserts. Thoroughly recommended. for meals any time of day
Wrongly added my review to Bridge45, which is in the same building but upstairs. Prime location if sitting outside or seated at a window position. Great food and service.

We enjoyed our meal and experience so much we booked again for the following night.
A lovely place for a bite to eat the fish I had was cooked perfectly and the full Scottish breakfast my friends had was great. Portion sizes were more than ample and I will see visit again.
Really enjoy visiting the Salt Cellar. Have recently had several visitors this month and we all enjoyed lunch.
It has a lovely atmosphere. Staff are all very attentive and food is excellent
Went here for lunch a couple of weeks ago and have to say it was delicious. My husband and I had different types of burger from the menu and the were both beautiful. We added onion rings and the portion was huge. There's lots to choose from. The staff too are attentive without being obtrusive. I was looking forward to icecream for dessert but was too full. Next time. Will be back.

Visited the Salt Celler with my Italian friends a couple of times. As we had a dog we had to eat outside but as the weather was good it was more than acceptable. We were five persons and we all ate a snack consisting of different Baked potatoes. Everyone was exceptionally happy with the food and service. Well worth a stop if you're hungry and visiting Lossiemouth.
Fabulous meal in a beautiful cavern type restaurant. Really well presented looked lovely and inviting. The menu choice was extensive and varied. So difficult to choose. The food arrive hot and presented perfectly. It was amazing a taste explosion. The staff were accommodating and helpful, very polite and efficient. Definitely worth a visit.
First time in the Salt Cellar to night. We ordered the lasagne and Mac& Cheese with fries on the side the meals arrived quickly, well presented, hot 🔥 and delicious. Would recommend for a meal. Staff were welcoming, friendly, polite and helpful.
Such a lovely place with delicious, fresh seafood. I got the langoustine starter (it’s such a good size and the langoustines were absolutely delicious), and the Cullen skink risotto which was fabulous. The only critique would be that the bread given with the langoustines was quite a stale slice. The garlic bread that came with the Cullen skink risotto was fresh and delicious so I assume it was a one-off. Would definitely recommend.
