The Golden Guinea And Gg Garden Bar - Looe - Photo album

Ate here twice when we were visiting Looe. Food was excellent on both occasions. Second time 2 of us had the roast, 1 small 1 large, the large of which was very plentiful. Would recommend.
Lovely place and great atmosphere. If the weathers nice, make sure you visit the beer garden, amazing views and beautiful selection of drinks. Have their own menu for the beer garden as well, only reason not 5 stars as didn’t say outside that the garden bar menu was only being served half full due t
Enjoyed the food, while fairly priced, you get good size portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful when discussing allergy requirements. Other customers looked to be having a nice time too.
Great find. Managed to get electric wheelchair in, despite looking like a small entrance. Was given a great seating area. Lovely staff, very helpful and thw food was gorgeous. Overall cost was extremely reasonable for the portions ( fish and chips was huge and delicious).
Nice little restaurant. Friendly staff. Quite busy and had to wait 20 minutes for the food - which what I would expect with freshly cooked food.2 meals and 2 drinks came to £36.50. And yes, I would come back again. Excellent.
If you want a carvery in Looe, or anywhere on the South Cornish coast, then this is the place to come. Suberb is an understatement my Turkey meal was top notch. Thanks
What a bloody brilliant pub, especially the raised beer garden terrace at the back, where we were treated to a brilliant DJ playing 90's classics. Great staff, fantastic atmosphere and superb range of rum's made for an awesome afternoon!! Highly recommended!
Take a walk through to the back of the olde-worlde looking Golden Globe in Looe and you will discover a secret garden hewn terrace by terrace up and into the rock face. Nooks and crannies adorned with pretty flowering shrubs are around every corner. The view overlooks a tumble of interlocked ancient
Nice atmosphere. Helpful staff most of the food was amazing (cooked dinner let it all down) But the pies chips burgers kids meals were stunning and all homemade. I would go back just wouldn’t have a cooked dinner from here again
My diabetic daughter needed to eat something that was not on the menu. The chef came and sat with us, listened to her needs and prepared her a specific meal. Absolutely brilliant customer service, cannot recommend highly enough for their inclusion and service. Thanks for making it an enjoyable lun
Lovely old building, good food, only reason it didn't get 5 stars - it was a bit salty. Staff were efficient and helpful and table service was excellent. We were very well looked after.
Had a lovely late lunch. Americana pizza and prawn sandwich both delicious and fresh. Value for money. Free cold water at the bar. Just what I needed on this warm day. Will definitely revisit and recommend.
Lovely setting. Friendly staff and nice food. The burgers are super tasty. Cod was very good with a golden crisp. Our waitress had a lovely smile, which is hard to come by now adays oddly enough. Its not a 4 start restraint and you shouldn't go in expecting this, but it's about a 3 star but for the
Great pub with fantastic and friendly staff. We ate here twice whilst on holiday last week and enjoyed it both times. The first we went as a group of 6 (4 adults, 1 child and a newborn) and were very accommodating in finding us a table that the pushchair would fit by. Food was delicious, especially
Took staff a little while to acknowledge we were there and had to wait a while for the menu. Once served, they were much better. Very limited choice for vegetarian people. Opted for the mushroom burger. It was tasty enough but quite expensive for 2 field mushrooms and a bit of garnish in a bun, plus
